January 2012 stay. The price was moderate, the room was quite attractive, and the staff was friendly though the desk clerk had a terrible cold. The room was about 50 degrees when we opened it and the heater had only a hot cold rotating knob rather than a thermostat which would control the temperature so you were either too hot or too cold and I woke up twice because of each. There also was some kind of air freshener we couldn't find that was a bit overpowering. Hair dryer provided did not work
The breakfast was quite decent for a continental breakfast though the sausage and eggs provided were certainly very low end. There were waffles provided with sliced strawberries, orange juice, and muffins though. Quite nice for free.
Really a mixed experience. Probably would stay again after it warmed up, but not in winter.
