very clean and quiet hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly.
Room was very comfortable.

Breakfast and hot-spa were wonderful.

The bed was miserably hard; the window latch was broken preventing it staying open; the tub drain-stopper was broken; the door latch was difficult to open from the outside; the rollaway bed was a sagging mess. We could hear our nieghbors' conversations and TVs, and even more clearly when they moved to the hallway. The bathtowels were small.

The breakfast was less than ususal--muffins from Costco, bulk cereal, bread you may toast and apples. The coffee was not worthy.

Jonah, at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, but he was limited by the circumstances.

We just wanted a place to sleep overnight. The mattress has no boxsprings, the hallway and rooms smelled bad, the breakfast was just not adequate and while we were sitting there, another patron was yelling at the owner because of the owner raising rates while he was staying there and the owner expected him to pay the difference. They were cutting tile in the front parking lot with the tile dust getting all over the cars. Sign in the front office says " We reserve the right to refuse service, no refunds" -- pretty sums up the attitude we got from the people at the front desk.

Our three night stay was special
When we layed down on the bed, we felt like we were laid out on a slab and though this is usually associated with eternal rest the paper thin walls wouldn't allow it. And forget coffee in the morning, to keep you awake, they don't clean the pot or leave new coffee packets when they clean the room. I guess we were just suppost to add water to the grounds that were in the pot when we arrived.
All you ladies out there will love all the attention ( you get from the men, that are rennnovating the motel, as you walk in the door, they're usually standing around the front door when you walk in.).
I might add its hard to acept the cost of rooms in this or any hotel in Bellingham I really don't see the value I guess its just the locals nicking the canadians again they don't realize thats why they keep heading south now!!!
