“During a very difficult time...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

I am a Platinum Elite Rewards Point member and have stayed at Marriott hotels worldwide. I rarely will stay at Marriott Courtyard, due to limitations on my perks. But the Bellevue Courtyard of Marriott has changed that. Although the perks were missing, the professionalism, customer serivce...and just plain 'knowing what your doing' was impressive, but 'over the top', especially during a very difficult time (i.e. Western Washington Snow Storm of January 2012). I checked in late, was still able to get to parking and a room (probably lucked out)...double twin for a family. Downtown Bellevue by 9pm was pretty much closed, but the Downtown Bellevue Courtyard of Marriott was still accomodating. Even with an one hour back-up of restaurant orders, they were still able to help and was able to get our food to us, to our room in less than an hour...with the bartender helping out delivering food to the rooms. Amazing Team at the Bellevue Courtyard of Marriott...! I can only say that Marriott should accomodate the entire hotel and especially the Operations Manager and Front Desk Team for orchestrating such a well managed hotel, especially during a time of strife. This is where is all comes together and you really know what these people can do. I can only imagine what it must be like on a normal day. These people are one of the BEST in the hotel business.
By the way, the hotel's accomodations were very good, too. Comfortable beds (with information to purchase...smart!)...very clean...parking was easy and very accessible (even during a snow storm)...the layout was perfect and easy...the enitre Team was professional and very kind...food tasted GREAT...and just one of the BEST experiences I have had at a hotel stay anywhere.
Thank you Downtown Bellevue Courtyard of Marriott for being you...!!!

Room Tip: Not sure...as far as I am concerned...ALL of the rooms are perfect...!

“Parking is very tight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

This is overall a very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff is courteous and helpful. It's located close enough to Hwy 405 (so it's easy to find), but not close enough to hear any highway noise. Walking to Bellevue Square is about 15 mins, and tonnes of restaurants along Bellevue Way NE.

The only con is about the parkade. I drive a Mazda 3 and still find the parking space to be very tight. A number of SUVs / trucks took up 2 parking spots as a result (and you can't really blame them for doing so).

“2nd time is a charm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

I stayed at another location on my first trip and at this location on my second trip. I'm glad I made the change. The location is great and you can walk to many places to keep yourself busy in the evenings. The rooms were clean, modern, but a bit small. Wifi service at this location was acceptable. The guy that makes the omelets in the morning does a GREAT job. This place is a winner for business travel in Bellevue.

“Great central location for Bellevue and Seattle access!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

King suite is great for kids/family and for extended stay. High traffic corner so if traffic bothers you at night, bring ear plugs but it didn't bother us all things considered. The staff was incredibly attentive, the kids loved the pool, the fitness center was well equipped. The location was the best - Bellevue Square is great and 2 blocks walking distance - all the things we did in Seattle were 15 minutes away and the accommodation was better than we could have afforded downtown. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday stay here including their buffet breakfast. Our only complaint was that the housekeeping was inconsistent and not thorough. One day our garbage bag and dirty towel was left on the floor after the rest of the room was cleaned, we had to ask repeatedly for our sheets and pillowcases to be changed instead of just re-made. We were shorted regular coffee a few times. Other than a few minor issues with housekeeping that were minor or that the hotel corrected with our requests we had a great stay here and would recommend it - especially for the location as well as for the comfort of the accommodation as well. Starbucks downstairs was incredibly convenient and welcome, Subway next door and walking distance to many great restaurants. Lobby was warm and welcoming with free computer access and internet for all of us. Would have been an Excellent review if the housekeeping had been up to par.

Room Tip: King Suite is the way to go - you get corner balcony and mini kitchenette.
