Rooms are old, but clean. Beds are comfy. Air conditioning can be a little iffy in the summer. The breakfast is a great deal. A great choice for a budget business trip in downtown Bellevue.
Stayed here one night for an event at the hotel. The exterior had me wondering about what the room would be like. Outside the place looks pretty dated, but the lobby was very nice, complete with a fireplace and sitting area. Check in was quick and painless. The desk clerk was polite and gave us a map to our room...this place has at least three separate buildings so the map was very helpful. Later on the desk clerk also helped to direct us where to eat, circling a few different options on a map for us. He was very polite and helpful even though he was pretty busy.
The room was surprisingly nice. Both the hallway and the room had a pleasant odor (there was what I think was an air purifier in the hall). The room came equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, coffee pot, alarm clock and hair dryer. The room was clean. The wifi and all appliances in the room, including the heat, worked with no trouble at all.
I only have two minor complaints. For whatever reason, the light in our microwave never turned off...it wasn't a problem because the microwave is tucked away in a cupboard, but I thought it was weird, not to mention a waste of energy. Also, the bathroom sink was very slow to drain.
The event room was nice and the hotel also served us pastries and coffee in the morning, sandwiches and fruit and lemonade in the afternoon, and cake and cookies later on. The food was decent and the staff made it look nice.
Met up with a friend for the weekend for girls' shopping time. Got this via priceline so we got a great deal. Older property, but our room was clean and quiet. I'm pregnant, so surprisingly, the beds were very comfortable! The only problem was our room was on the backside, 2nd floor, near the maintenance shop. Maintenance people (and guests!) used the ShopVac that was sitting outside to clean their cars or whatever, before 8 am! Not the wakeup calls we would have liked. :(
Convenient location, close to downtown but less expensive. Easy access to highways, shopping, etc.
Another Priceline 3-star bid for me. Older low-rise property but more solidly built than modern budget places where you hear everyone else. My room was second floor of the main building facing the pool (not open at this time of year). Minimal noise from other rooms and not much from freeway across the street either. Very comfortable king bed with lots of pillows (yay!) Quite adequate space in the room, work desk, easy chair, modern tv, fridge and microwave. Free -and fast- wireless internet. Very cramped bathroom with sloooow draining tub. HVAC is typical older place - noisy wall mount unit only and didn't really provide enough heat without keeping it running much longer than I wanted. Would hate to be here during a cold snap. Bathroom vent runs 24/7 and also rather noisy. I didn't try the restaurant or breakfast, Bar closes at 10pm(!) but fitness room was good. Pleasant staff.at front desk.
With less HVAC noise it would be preferable to the nearby Coast Hotel that usually comes from a Priceline 3* bid.
