“Nice hotel, beautiful workout facilities”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We (husband and I) used a coupon from a travel-related site for a "stay-cation". We thought the workout facilities were beautiful and impressive.

The room was well-maintained with a super comfortable bed and nice linens. We didn't hear a lot of outside noise overall (the room was next to the elevator). Ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was delicious - well cooked, well-seasoned and high quality. Breakfast was good, as well, though arrived at room temperature. Staff very courteous and friendly - great service. I think our expectations of the hotel, however, was a little different than the experience. We expected less of corporate-feeling hotel. It was more about our expectation than the fault of the hotel. If I were a business traveler in the Bellevue area, this would be a great choice. For a couple's weekend, not so much.

Room Tip: Ask for some sort of view if that is important. View of tennis courts and freeway not so impressive...

Dear mmirandm,
Thanks for choosing Hotel Bellevue for your eastside getaway and thank you for your kind comments. On your next visit allow us to show you our rooms on the 4th floor with views of Mount Rainier. Additionally, should you return during the winter months, you may wish to request a room with a fireplace. Also, in the comng months, we will be enhancing several of our public areas which are set aside for reflection and relaxation. Finally, I thought you might want to know that we offer a variety of wellness, social and fitness programming which include activities such as yoga, pilates, wine tasting and cooking classes, author forums, travel programs, etc. In short, in addition to being business-friendly, we want to be your local leisure destination of choice as well.

I hope we can welcome you back again soon and often. Please call on me personally, if I may be of service. Thanks again!

Sincerely, Brian

“Beautiful hotel, GREAT customer service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

My partner and I stayed here just for one night and it was absolutely fabulous.

When we first arrived we were given a standard room i guess, but it was still very nice, but there was just a slight problem and when we called front desk to inform them they were more than happy to help. We weren't expecting anything, just maybe a quick touch up or at most switch rooms, but NO they upgraded us to a huge suite!! YAY! We were so pleasantly surprised. The suite was so spacious, huge living room area and then the bedroom was awesome, gorgeous bathroom too!

They definately deserve 5 stars for customer service and 5 stars to beauty of the hotel too!! We've decided that any trips we do to washington we are going to stay there even if it's out of our way. It's just that great.

“Great stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

My husband and I had a staycation at the Hotel Bellevue and loved it! We mentioned to the front desk that we were there celebrating his birthday and they offered to send champagne to the room. The rooms was spacious and the bed very comfartable! The sport facility was a fun addition to the weekend! My husband had a spa treatment and thought that the massage he had was one of the best! All in all a very pleasant experience!

Room Tip: Went for happy hour to John Howie - good value!

“A Bellevue Health Haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

One word: impressed.

I've stayed at multiple 4-star and 5-diamond hotels in Bellevue and Seattle, and I wanted to try something new. I'm glad I did.

The Hotel Bellevue excels in every area. Its participation in Small Luxury Hotels of the World and high praise from a hotel inspector at Conde Nast Johansens only confirms this. What sets it apart {and incidentally makes it the #1 Trip Advisor hotel in Bellevue} is a confluence of facilities and personalized service.

From the moment you pull your car into the valet, the professional, accommodating and friendly customer service tone is sealed and the delivery remains consistent with every member of the staff. The design is West Coast, refined contemporary.

The rooms are spacious with a sitting area, desk, large flat-screen TV and stone-floored entry with full-length mirror. My room had a large bathroom with a tub, separate shower and toilet behind a closed door. I liked the iPod/iPhone dock to charge my phone and amplify my music. The bed was very comfortable, just the right amount of firmness and softness.

One of the hotel's unique value propositions is its 200,000 sf world-class facilities which are part of the The Bellevue Club, a high-end sports and leisure facility. As a guest of the hotel, you have access to most of these facilities, including the fitness programs like yoga and pilates.

What to know
- The hotel is a 2-min drive from DT Bellevue and shopping, 12 miles from sea tac and 15 mins from Seattle.
- There is a Mercedes S63 AMG towncar to drive you into and pick you up from DT Bellevue.
- I saw one reviewer note that rooms above the entrance {aka hwy side - but really, the hwy is in the distance} were loud, I guess this is a matter of opinion. As a city-dweller, I did not notice.
- Complimentary wifi with a decent signal.
- Parking is $12/night.
- Dogs are $25/stay.
- There are 4 restaurants on-site, I only ate in Cosmos Lounge. The food was good. If you come as a family, you might like the casual, cafeteria-style "Splashes", but if you're a couple, the other restaurants are better suited.
- There is also a spa, health club, three pools {one outdoor}, tennis and squash.
