This hotel is a great place to stop over when traveling on interstate 81. Ordinarily, this chain would not be my choice of hotels but this property has been consistently clean and reasonable in price. I have stayed here every year since the hotel was built. The staff members have always been courteous and helpful. This is a basic hotel not something for a luxury vacation stay. There are hot and cold breakfast items if interested. Or there is a Cracker Barrel nearby. If you arrive during the day, you might ask for a room with the mountain views (on the pool side). Oh, the internet service is free. Hint: If you book through Hotwire it will be rated 2 1/2 stars, but don't worry about that for this property. If you're are weary traveler don't hesitate
to stay here.

Stopped here after a looonnnggg day (and night) of driving. It was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is safe, clean, quiet, and I made myself at home (even walked on the floors without my shoes). On the way back home I made a point of stopping here again because I enjoyed my stay (and the fact I knew I could sleep in peace without worrying about bedbugs). The staff was really nice, and were very attentive. Great breakfast (loved the sausage gravy), and the room's fridge and coffee maker came in handy. I thought the hotel was new, because it is very new-feeling. The bath was quite nice, with granite counters and a terrific shower. The only complaint is that I stayed in smoking rooms (my travelling companion is a smoker), and the room had an odd cigar/pipe smell. Would stay again, and would recommend to others, especially women travelling alone.

This hotel is clean and reasonably priced. Service at the desk is only ok, not any different than anyplace else. Although our 3-day stay was pleasant with no surprises, we find it hard to believe that they were a gold award winner. Peoples expectations must be pretty low if they only expect the rooms to be clean and comfortable - isn't this what you would expect anyplace you stayed? No one said "hi" or "How was your stay?". Breakfast is ok, not a hot breakfast.

We had business in Woodstock and needed to travel with our dogs so stayed at Comfort Inn for one night since they allow dogs for $10 per pet per night The hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were good size. The bathroom is nicely tiled and the shower worked well. The bed was comfortable and our room was very quiet allowing us to get a good night's sleep. The hotel has a small fitness room with some machines and a tv but no free weights. The complimentary breakfast was above average with eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, bagels, wheat bread, waffles you make yourself, juice, coffee and tea. There is a nice walking area behind the hotel for the dogs. There are lots of fast food restaurants and gas stations nearby and the town of Woodstock is about a 10 minute drive and has some regular restaurants too along its Main Street.

The hotel is right off of I-81 and is not too far from Bryce Resort where we went the following day. This is a very convenient hotel and we would definitely choose it again when we are in that area.
