“Great value for price!!”

We stayed at this hotel on our way south on I-81, without a reservation on 1/25/12. 5 yrs old but in very nice condition, beds were very comfortable, pillows great, room very clean, and the included express breakfast fantastic. The best breakfast I think we ever at a hotel where breakfast is included. Very helpful hostess, many choices, including warm cinnamon rolls, fruit and a pancake machine which rolled out excellent pancakes. Oh and the heating/AC system was not noisy and did not run all night!! We may not ever have a reason to travel this way again, but if we do we would definitely make this hotel our stop....or a similar HI Express. They are a great choice when traveling!!!

“A nice hotel to spend the night.”

I have spent the night often at this Holiday Inn Express in Woodstock, VA in the Shenendoah Valley area when traveling for business reasons or for leisure. My most recent stay here was on the first of the year 2012 with my wife on our journey from Montreal, QC to Charleston, SC. The town of Woodstock, VA is small but it's located only a few miles south of Winchester, VA if you're looking for shopping malls, more variety of restaurants, and more activities. I like this Holiday Inn Express (Woodstock) because it's located by Interstate 81 in a quiet area. The hotel grounds are well-kept with plenty of parking space. The hotel itself is fairly new and the hotel lobby, the breakfast area, and the rooms are all very clean and well-kept. The continental breakfast has a very good variety of foods. This hotel is a perfect stop for a quiet night's rest for both the business and the leisure traveler, away from the noise and bustle of busier towns and cities, before continuing your travel agenda the next day. As a Holiday Inn Priority Club Platinum member I strongly recommend this hotel for a good night's rest and a good breakfast in the morning to start your day.

“Great, safe, clean, friendly place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

This was the halfway point for us on our travel between NC and NJ. I traveled the route many times this past year, often with my 2 little boys (ages 6 and 3). I loved this hotel because I knew it was always clean and safe, even when we arrived after dark. I had no worries about all our stuff in the car. We even enjoyed the pool one trip. Lots of outlets so everything could be recharged before hitting the road again.

Room Tip: I liked the rooms just down the hall from the lobby - made breakfast much easier to bring to the roo...

“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

My husband and I stayed here in November on a return trip from DC. The room was great with plenty of electric sockets conveniently placed for multi-tasking. The bathroom was large and clean. Complimentary breakfast was great-not just dry packaged buns or bagels but real eggs, sausage etc. Would stay again or at any like HI Express.

“Great two night stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

Check in was very pleasant, we received free samples and @ $5.00 gift card to Woodstock cafe & shoppes, as a priority member.
We stayed in Room 227 in a king size bed. The room was very clean with good lighting. The heating system actaully cut off once the room temperture was reached. Clean bedding. The TV had a many channels to choose from. The bathroom was nice & clean with towels that were not hard.
Breakfast- The bagel, fruit, and the orange juice was good. The orange mango juice had no flavor. They had a pancake machine along with scrambled eggs, sausage , cereal and lemonade, which i did not try.
Business center- was nice & quiet.
Gym- machines but no weights.
My husband wakes up early and was able to get coffee before 6:30a.m. We will definately staty here again if the need arises.
