“Convenient, clean, quiet, friendly stopover on our way south”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2011

We usually camp in Florida during the winter. This year we had to make an emergency trip back to RI and ME. We stopped at this Travelodge on our way back to our son's in Pensacola. We found it very friendly, convenient to the highway, quiet, and very clean. Nice to have a quick breakfast before we continued another 13 hour drive to Pensacola. I definitely will try another Travelodge when we do need a hotel.

“OK for one night”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2010

We have stayed here FOUR times on trips back and forth to RI. It is quiet and easy on and off the highway. The rooms and the whole hotel are in need of updating, but we have a theory that we can stand ANYTHING for one night. One of the times we stayed the sheets reeked of smoke soooo bad I swore we would never come back. We did come back and the management said that we could check out as many rooms as it took to find a bed that wasn't smokey. We would like to find something better for this stopover but so far there is nothing else in this price range! Breakfast is the usual and the air conditioning annoying........

They accept pets and there's three restaurants in the same parking area.

“Just passing through”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2010

The staff at the front desk were friendly enough, our reserved room was ready. When we got to the room, however, there were signs that a pizza or spaghetti war had taken place...red spots and stains on the wall, on the headboard, on the blanket, which had been tucked in while the bed was being made (how could housekeeping have missed it???), on the comforter, lamp, even on the ceiling.
We called the desk and asked for a manager to come and look at it, and asked to be moved. He wasn't sure whether there would be another room with a king sized bed, but quickly found one at the end of the hall on the same floor. We would have left and found another hotel at that point. Pretty soon after being moved, we saw staff from housekeeping approaching our area of the building, so would assume that she was heading to clean up the mess and change the bed.
The new room seemed clean enough. The bed was not plush, but for that kind of money, you just expect somewhere to lay your head for the night.
We did not look at the pool, but one was advertized. There were several restaurants in the area, as well as gas stations, and it is conveniently located just off the Interstate.
I wouldn't not recommend this hotel, but would look for somewhere else a little more luxurious to try if I was going to be in the area again.
You really do get what you pay for.
