As many on here, I booked this based on the posted comments. Winchester is a bit of a one horse town so I wasn't 100% convinced the high marks were warranted. When we arrived, all of our paperwork was already completed for check in so that only took about 3 minutes. Room was VERY clean and updated. Someone mentioned that the property had been open for 3 years. I'm not sure if that's correct but it looked like it could have been open for a year or less as far as the cleanliness factor. There was a nice fire in the lobby and the bar/restaurant served some really decent food; way above anything I've had at a Holiday Inn before. Look...it's a Holiday Inn in Winchester VA, so if you think 5 stars means butler service and free champagne on arrival think again. But if you're looking for a clean, friendly, relaxing business type hotel with good food (room service as well), indoor pool, bar and updated rooms for well under $100/night, I can't imagine you can beat this place. Thanks for the good stay. The wife and I plan to come up in the spring for a hiking weekend and we will definitely be staying here.

This hotel is brand new and it shows. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff took pride in them. I can't wait until my company sends me back to Winchester so I can stay here again.

I stay at this location at least once a month and it just keeps getting better and better. I was not once disappointed in 2011 and hope for the same greatness in 2012.

We chose this hotel as our guest hotel during our son's wedding in Winchester, and cannot say enough about how helpful the staff was and how much we enjoyed the hotel.Our guests also enjoyed it. From the time we first met with the sales manager until we left after the wedding, the entire staff of the hotel provided for all of our needs. The rooms were spacious, very clean and reasonable in price, the public areas were very nice, and the facilities met all of our needs and the needs of our guests. We scheduled our rehearsal dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent. Everyone raved about the meal. The restaurant food was also very good. We had a most enjoyable stay during the four days of the wedding. I would recommend this hotel for a one night's stay or any event you are planning in the area.
