“DISGUSTING DISGUSTING DISGUSTING!”

My friends & I just stayed at this hotel & I regret it! 1st of all, the staff are as rude as they come! 2nd, the breakfast in the morning is okay except the milk cartons were past expiration date-YUMMY. 3rd, we pulled back the comforter & there was a HUGE blood stain on the mattress/box spring. Literally it looked like someone sat against the side of the bed and was shot and all the blood dried onto the mattress. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in a hotel....not to mention the sheets had lovely yellow/brown stains on them. When I checked out I told the lady at the desk and she said "hmm I guess I'll tell my manager". The manager wasn't there so I called & left him a voicemail to discuss the nastiness of that room...but surprise surprise no call back. Pay the extra money & go somewhere nice!

“America's WORST value ever!”

When I arrived with my 3 very young children we went to the room. It was so hot and when I turned on what appeared to be an airconditioner it blew out the most fowl smelli ng stench you could ever imagine. It was supposed to be non smoking but there we cigerrettes all the way down the terrace to our room and all over the ground in front of our door. My children quickly went to the bathroom while I was standing their in shock at what I had booked for the night. I pulled the bedspreads off to check the conditions of the linens and there was hair and stains. The room was the most disgusting room I have ever seen in any hotel I have ever stayed at. I called down to the front desk and told the clerk that I could not stay there because of the smell and the condition of the room. She said come down for a refund and I did after hauling 3 kids and luggage down the stairs. She quickly refunded the money and apologized. I went to the Marriott and had an excellent experience. I just recieved my credit card statement and they charged me $70.00 for pullling the beds spreads off the bed and using the bathroom. I have made 5 phone calls to speak with the manager that is NEVER on duty. I will dispute the charges thru my credit card and hopefully forget about it all together. The manager has not returned my call and I dont believe that he intends to. Please DO NOT ever stay at this filthy dirty pitiful excuse of a hotel. AAA needs to be notified because somehow they approved this hotel. I would rather have slept in my car than that dump.

“Good Place to Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2010

I was afraid of staying at the Pineapple Inn after reading the review on Trip Advisor, however other friends had stayed at the hotel and said it was fine. So I stayed with my two friends for 3 nights. The hotel is not new, and we knew this, so we were happy to find that they had clean linens, comfortable beds, complimentary wireless internet access and also a microwave & refrigerator in the room. When we checked in we were given the on-call phone number in case we needed anything after the front desk closed. The hotel is not fancy, but it was clean and very convenient to other locations. Give this hotel a chance if you are looking for inexpensive, and not fancy.

“The Hotel is Terrible.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2009

Rooms are terrible. Raggy old stain linen and blankets. Dirty carpet and floors. Room had not been vaccum. Had a bad odor. Bed had a smaller bed box spring than mattress. Bath tub was stop up, water would not go down. Could not sleep in the bed. Sit on one side and the bed tilted over. Wash cloths and towels were old and very hard. Left red spots on my body. It was after 10:00 PM and the office was closed. Had to call the operator and ask that the owner be contacted so that I could be moved to another room. The other room was not much better, broken handle on the sink faucet. If it had not been late, and I would have to repack again, I would have gone to another hotel.

Please do nor stay at this hotel. You will surely be disappointed as I was.

“dirty & poor customer service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 March 2009

We booked this hotel through Hotwire. This hotel was listed as a 3 star-and noted it was in line with Holiday Inn, so we booked it. Went to the lobby, the customer service was poor, we had asked for places to eat and the desk clerk just pointed and stated just go down the road and you will find somewhere to eat. After checking into the room we looked around, noted the phone did not work, pulled back the blanket and there was a big urine stain on the blanket. Room smelled moldy. We got our bags and put them back into the car. I went to the office and spoke with the front desk and informed them I was checking out and the reasons why I was checking out. There response was ok. No, gee I am really sorry there is a urine stain on the blanket, can we move you to a different room, can we refund your money, nothing. Went down the street and checked into the Holiday Inn. Plus of all this-After calling Hotwire they refunded 100% of my money. Hotwire also told me that on Mar 17 the hotel was downgraded. Rightly so!
