What a disappointment! My husband and I stayed here in June 2010 with our 16 and 11 yr olds. The clerk at the front desk was nice enough. The room was even decent. Continental breakfast?? Yeah, right! A box of cereal and a gallon of milk in the fridge. I wouldnt let my kids tough anything in there! The milk looked like it had stuff growing in it. Disgusting! The corridors were not air conditioned and the outside stairwell was rusty and didnt look safe. Elevator was at least 110 degrees. And the questionable people who lived at the hotel..... There were about 20 living there who were always hanging out in the corridors and crowding and drinking around the pool. My kids couldnt even swim. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! The worst hotel I have ever seen. Lesson learned.

I took my family to Williamsburg to watch my son participate in a soccer tournament. Circumstances being what they were, I ended up making last minute reservations. The Super 8 Colonial had an opening and I jumped on it. Other team members and their families stayed at more expensive hotels/Inns etc. When we went out to dinner, everyone was commenting on how "expensive" it was to be in Williamsburg. Their rooms were upwards of $150/night. Our room cost $30 plus tax per night. It wasn't the best but it was OK. It afforded us the opportunity to buy a few things we might not have had the opportunity to buy if we were spending more on our room. Our room was clean and the staff was very nice.

My husband and I went here on a long weekend. When we got to the hotel noboby was at the desk and even after ringing the bell we waited almost five minutes for someone to come check us in. The room was ok. It wasnt terrible. But the fire station must have been close by because we heard them several times. On the last day there the police was banging on the door of the room three doors down from us.

It´s the cheapest hotel in the area, but the filthtiness, bad smells and cokroaches are not acceptable even for its low price, the lack of cleaningness was unvbelievable; the bathrooms were disgusting. We hit the road with my family (6 ) and got to Williamsburg at midnight, we started hotel hunting with the gps. It was raining and we wanted to take a rest as soon as possible, but when we walked into the room we saw 4 roaches in less than 2 minutes. They were everywhere, in the bathroom, on the fridge, on the walls; we didn´t even have time to check the sheets. We ran out and cancelled the check in immidiatly We found a good hote (days inn)l for a fair price (only 10 dollars more per room) and excellent conditions.
The local sanitary authorities should pay them a visit, it´s not fair that the image of a city as beautiful Williamsburg, be affected by this kind of establishments
