The Bentley manor in was the perfect spot from which to explore Colonial Williamsburg, and Fred and Jane made the weekend an absolute pleasure.
I sometimes find the second "b" a little tiresome... making pleasant conversation with strangers over coffee you wish you could have made yourself and a breakfast you're really not hungry for.
At Bentley Manor Inn, my husband and I found ourselves leaving later each day because we inadvertently lingered way past the end of breakfast, enjoying the great food and the excellent company. The other guests were fascinating people, and Fred and Jane are just good people.
We will absolutely stay with them again when we find ourselves in the area. It made for a great long weekend from Washington, with a fun and educational trip, great dining and, thanks to Fred and Jane, really fabulous accomodations.
Room Tip: All of the rooms are lovely. Only one has a tub, so if it matters to you, ask.
