By the looks of the outside of this Super 8, I was already worried. When we entered the room it was hot, humid, and smelled like feet. I have never wanted a bottle of Febreeze so bad in my life. TV remote broken. The bedding is old and horrid. The Pool was surrounded by cigarette butts and glass. Fun for the whole family.... NOT!!

Lots of black mold growing on bathroom walls. Wife stuck in elevator, desk man acted like it was a regular occurance. Stairs in disrepair. Listened to train wissles all night.. Free stale dounuts in lobby for breakfast.

The front office staff is very nice, that's the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. The property is in desperate need of repair. The stairs are rusting, leaning and uneven. Holes are visible from where all the rust ate through. The place smells of moth balls. The bed is hard and the sheets and towels are very, very thin and used. Almost want to go buy my own towels and not use theirs. The train tracks are right behind the property and the train passes by periodically (the conductor makes sure to let everyone know he's coming!). To add to the noise of the hotel, the bikers that live here are very loud (so are their Harleys), early in the morning. I know you get what you pay for but I didn't realize the dollar was worth soooo little! Save yourself, stay somewhere else.

Although the staff here are pleasant, the rooms are antiquated and dirty. One of the beds in the room had stained sheets full of hair and the other was barely any better. Neither the bathtub nor the sink drained. When we called down to the desk to ask for help with the clogged drain, a young man came up with a plunger and still couldn't fix the issue. Bathroom was dirty and the floors were really just gross. We intended to stay for two nights and barely made it through one. The only positive thing I can say about is that there are worse motels in Williamsburg, but I couldn't get out fast enough and would never stay here again.
