On our trips to the USA we mix 'hotels' with 'bed and breakfast' as part of our holiday experience. But we never know quite what to expect when we make an online booking even though we spend a lot of time researching and reading reviews. But Tree Streets Inn exceeded all expectations!
First impressions as we entered from the car parking space at the rear of the property were of the delightful gardens ( yes we're from the UK and can't get used to the term yard!), a very inviting pool and an interesting looking house.
Then we were greeted by Bill and Nickie who immediately made us feel at home. They also gave us a great insight into the history of the house.
We were only there for a one night stay - but everything about our short stay was excellent.
The room was lovely - very comfortable and guaranteeing a good nights sleep. Breakfast very good. You get to meet the other guests - which adds to the experience as you swap stories.
Tip - stay longer than one night if you can!

This was our second visit to Tree Streets Inn and we definitely will be back. We have stayed in 2 different rooms so far, from the Laurel Suite to the cozy Maple Room and want to try the other two. Even in the smaller rooms, there is comfortable seating so you don't have to sit on the bed unless you want to. If you want to relax outside of the room, the common area choices are great--2 rooms & a porch on the 1st floor and an enclosed porch & small outside deck upstairs. Breakfast is served at a set time, which is a great opportunity to visit with other guests while enjoying the delicious food. Waynesboro is an ideal location between Charlottesville & Staunton. This may account for some of the many repeat visitors to Tree Streets, but I attribute most of it to the owners' gracious hospitality and charming accommodations.

I had a great experience at Tree Streets Inn. It exceeded my expectations. The grounds around the home were beautifully landscaped. The interior was beautifully restored and decorated. The owners are very friendly and we enjoyed getting to know them and the history behind the house. The rooms were very comfortable, and the outdoor patio and pool area was a pleasure to enjoy. The whole experience at the Tree Streets Inn was great!

True to the recommendation the Inn keepers (Bill and Vicky) gave me a great couple of nights - treated me as royalty. Helped me sort out my travel back to Washington (it was the end of my section hike along the AT) and generally made me feel as part of the family rather then a guest.
