Let me preface this by saying we LOVED our stay at this hotel and will definitely be back. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were more than well appointed and every room is ocean front. We were traveling as a family and the suites are perfect for just that. The staff is super friendly, always greeting you with a smile and always fast with any request you may have. The breakfast was delicious and full of variety in a brightly sunlit room right on the ocean. The pool was nice and a fun time for my husband and I with our little one.

The only down side is that the hotel does need a bit of a refresh, but ONLY in the furniture aspect of the guest rooms. The bedding was new as was the case goods, but the furniture was showing a bit of wear which is typical for any oceanfront hotel, especially ones that are a suite.

Parking is at a premium but the nice thing is that they offer complimentary valet parking so if you do indeed have to park offsite, they can do it for you.

This place had everything we needed to feel the comforts of home. We were in a room on the 2nd floor and it was wonderful. Initially I was disappointed about being on the 2nd floor because I like the solitude of being higher up. But this floor allowed us a clear viiew of all the lights and a very large balcony. I will say the room was a little noisy because of the refrigerator.

We have stayed at most of the decent hotels at the beach and we think this one is by far the best. The staff is super friendly from front desk to housekeeping. The housekeeper noticed my kids ate all the popcorn, so she left us many more packs. This hotel is one of very few hotels that have suites in this town. They are laid out well with full kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. There is never a problem to get two queen beds like at many suite hotels now that cater to business travelers. The decor of the rooms are great being beach cottage themed. The breakfast is wonderful and the evening meal/reception on weekdays is a huge plus. It is also located in the nicest area of the oceanfront with great shops, restaurants and music. If you can splurge, stay here and you will enjoy your stay.

This hotel is very true to its mission in being dog friendly. Beginning with the jar of dog treats on the counter, the front desk staff could not have been more friendly, accomodating and welcoming. We were there in the fall so dogs, on leash, are welcome on the beach and boardwalk. The ocean views were spectacular and the location was great! Every morning there was a sumptous, free breakfast which cannot be beat.

The only criticisms that I have is that housekeeping in the common areas was spotty, the sofa bed left much to be desired and the furniture in the room was somewhat stained but this may have been because dogs are allowed. My travel companion had continuing problems accessing the internet, as the hotel's wi fi was not working for most of the time we were there.

Overall though, this was a great place to stay, the staff was wonderful and I would certainly return!
