This hotel was a nice, inexpensive place to stay in the off season. It was very clean and comfortable and was an enjoyable stay. Also, it is close to my favorite VA Beach restaurant, Watermans at 4th and Atlantic. I could have a few drinks and just walk the 3 blocks back to the hotel along the boardwalk :)
It's a dated hotel and I wouldn't really call it a "resort", but the staff were friendly and helpful. Also the room was nice and roomy and it was nice to have a full kitchen for when I didn't want to go out. So some nights were colder than others and I could just turn up the heat with came from the vents, not some machine under the window.
Room Tip: I asked for a room higher up for a more private and unobscured ocean view, but any room above the 2n...
