We stayed two nights in late January, 2012. Parking is free and plentiful. Check-in was quick and the staff members cheerful. I think most of the rooms are suites--beds in one room and an all purpose living area with chairs, couch, and a kitchenette arrangement (more on that later). Our first use of the bathroom was an indicator of the need for some maintenance. The toilet would not flush. I discovered the water supply had been turned off. After turning it back on, I quickly discovered the reason: the water shut off valve in the tank did not work. A request for a different room was quickly arranged by a very helpful person at the main desk. In our second room, I couldn't help but notice little things like heating vent covers hanging a bit askew. Because our trip included getting up early and being on the road by 7 a.m., we brought breakfast fixings. This was based on being told there was a kitchenette, with a microwave, etc. Imagine our surprise when we discovered the cupboards were empty--no plates, bowls, or silverware. The fine print in the room service menu noted "utensils, etc. available for purchase". There are good restaurants nearby where we ate one night, and we did have supper in the on site restaurant our second night there. We had salads and dessert, both of which were very good. The location for this facility is great. I do hope the management sees fit to begin a renovation project that takes care of updating the facility as well as taking care of maintenance needs.
