We stayed at this hotel for the New Year's holiday. Checked in New Years Eve and stayed for 2 nights. Clean room. Beds were very comfortable and linens were high quality.
Balcony was the smallest I have ever seen, but private and all rooms face the ocean.
Breakfast was adequate. We ate there New Year's morning when the hotel was totally full, so by the time we got to breakfast, everything was wiped out, but they were doing their best to replenish it. Took a little while, but we got enough to fill us up. What I liked about the breakfast is that it wasn't a continental breakfast. They had bacon, eggs, pancakes, gravy. Very nice surprise.
All in all, great stay. Quiet room, except for the fool yelling Happy New Year all night, but it was a party holiday and we didn't mind. Staff was very courteous.
Would I stay there again. Yes!!!
I think if you're considering this hotel you won't be disappointed.

We checked in on Friday Dec 30 and it was the quickest I have ever checked in anywhere. We arrived at 2 and our room was ready, we were given the option of a high or low floor, so we chose high. Pool was nice and warm, hot tub was too hot for me. Breakfast was great both mornings, small problem with the pancake maker, no biggie. Asked for extra towel Sat am, never got them, returned from Bush Gardens @ 10pm, our rooms weren't done. Had to ask for towels, got them right away. Needed toilet paper Sunday am , since our room wasn't done we didn't get any, the girl at the front desk was very appolegetic as was the girl we told our room wasn't cleaned. We noticed a guy drinking at 9am in the pool area and the girl at the front desk went right in and told him he couldn't drink in there! I think the manager was on our floor cleaning the rooms wen we were leaving! Our room was clean when we checked in, more so than when we stayed there in the Summer! MI just think they need a better cleaning staff!

Our family of four stayed here New Year's Eve and had a wonderful experience. Connecting rooms, oceanfront, clean, comfortable beds, with mini fridges in each room. Big rooms, spacious bathrooms, and a hot breakfast in the morning. I belong to Marriott and Hilton rewards program as I travel a good bit for business, and I would put THIS Holiday Inn on par with either hotel chain. Plus the rates are reasonable.

Currently Undergoing full renovation.Stayed in a new room 12th Floor great Ocean Views.
The room was very nice and I enjoyed the stay.
