Let me start with the good. This hotel is in a fabulous location, since the shuttle will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius. Within that radius, there is the airport, a great movie theater, and a Cheesecake Factory, located at the Town Center, which is a nice 2 or 3 block center of shopping and dining. I don't know about the experiences others had, but the staff was above board friendly. Everyone was great and promptly responded to our requests. The hotel itself is lovely. Nice, fresh, modern look. Well, unfortunately, we discovered hygienic issues...in two different rooms. The sheets on our bed had been carefully placed so as to keep one from noticing--unless you pulled the covers back, which we did the next day--that there were several blood stains. No crew could have missed the stains while making the bed...this was purposely hidden. Only God knows why. My parents came to stay as well, and when my dad went to get in his shower, he discovered a used washcloth hanging from the shower rod and hair on the shower wall. Crazy, considering the tub was sparkling. The beds were ok. If you like the plushness of a Marriott bed, this isn't the hotel. But we slept comfortably for those 3 nights. Oh yes, I have to mention, be sure to ask for a room that does NOT face the lobby. The voices from anyone down there carry all the way to the top. It's loud and distracting. The A/C is a wall unit, so of course it will not be nice and quiet like central A/C. It didn't bother me or my husband (the lobby noise was way worse), but my dad said it sounded like a train. To each his own. I HAVE TO SAY, Dawn Blanchard, the manager accommodated us well. As I told her, I would love to recommend this hotel, but I can't, given the things we discovered. Plus, they don't have a breakfast buffet, and the restaurant is...ok. Denny's is right up the street. The things I'm complaining about are fixable, and take the hotel down at least 2 stars.
