We we're on our honeymoon and headed to VA from PA. We stayed in a Best Western in PA and called out of the Best Western Book they have in the rooms to book a room in VA. They told us on the phone they did not have many rooms available for the 2 nights we would be there, so we booked it (it didn't sound bad or look bad on paper. After driving all day we arrived about 2 in the morning, checked in, went to the room and it was nothing like we expected. It smelled, it was dirty, the bathtub had water and chewed gum left in it. The curtains would not close all the way, we had to put a chair to hold them together and put the ironing board ontop of the air conditioner to keep light out. I would never stay here again - I would rather sleep in my car.

My wife and i stayed here for our honeymoon the room was not cleaned in 3 of our 5 days there, the parking is awful, the hotel had no towels for us, requested the top floor being it was our honeymoon got the 1st floor instead. Thankyou bestwestern i will never stay in another one again.

Ok, it's not oceanfront and it's not a $200 a night place. But if you want a decent place to stay, in a good location with a very helpful front desk, then stay here. It's near good restaurants, across the street from the beach and we had a very enjoyable stay. There were a few problems with the cleanliness of the room when we checked in but we called the front desk and the problems were taken care of immediately. I thought the bed was very comfortable -- everything was adequate. I had a special towel for my hair and it got mixed in with the regular towels. I mentioned it at the front desk when I was leaving and received it in the mail yesterday. We felt very lucky to find this place at the last minute for the days before the 4th of July.

MY huband and i just returned from a 5 nite stay.there at the end of july. to tell you the truth i was very dissappointed in the pool are for onle. there were only 4 loung chairs availabe (no room for any more) and people walked in directly from the beach and pool area and werent staying at the hotel without anyone questioning them. our bathroom tub and tiles had unsightly mildew. the metal bracket around the shower was falling off. the b/r light flickered constantly. there were 5 floors with 3 ice machines. most of the time the ice machines were out of order or no ice avaliable. the price for the room was high for the quality of service. they boast free coffee yet every moring had to wait for a new pot to brew. there were 52 rooms and 1 pot of coffee.one of the front desk clerks was very cold when asked to make fresh coffee.yikes probably wont stay there again.
