Since I was a Marriott member I figure I would find a hotel close to a friend I was visiting. I found this hotel. I was kind of thrown off by looking for a office desk - it was more like a table. Anyway, I asked for a room and I was given a great rate for the night. I was asked what was my floor preference - I said high. They put me on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, I was not aware there wasn't an elevator - will not make that mistake again. Got to the room and I thought they left the window open. It was 50 degrees in the room!!! It was December and it was in the 40s. I realized the AC was on. So I changed it to heat and figured it would be warm in the morning. I went to bed with long socks, shorts, and a sweater. I woke up that morning and I was still freezing. When I finally checked out, I told them about what happened. They told me they cleaned the heating coils in the summer and some of them were wet so the disconnected them. They also told me the list of room they did that to was lost. C'MON MAN!!! If that was something they lost, why not go through every room to ensure customers had everything the needed. Poor excuse. It was a nice looking ice box.
