Just returned from our 2nd stay. And had a nice pleasant trip. The room seamed to be remodeled a bit from the last time, It was very clean and nice. I love the ocean front balconys.The staff was very freindly. The only thing I think is crap is the "safe charge" they just kinda sneak that in on you. But both times I told them I didn't use it and they took it off. Internet was 30.00 for the week but I needed it. The renovation work was a little loud but it was fine.

Nice clean rooms, beautiful view right on the beach. Everyone was very friendly. My daughters found the open entry/hallways to get to your room a bit different, but I believe that is common for many of the beach hotels. Nice restaurant right next to the hotel, with music on the weekends and several nice restaurants all within walking distant. Indoor and outdoor pool all nice and clean. Very easy access just over the bridge for a short 15 minute drive to the Princess Anne Soccer complex from this location, without having to travel up Atlantic Boulevard and multiple lights.Parasailing and boating was a short walk across the street, bike rentals next to the hotel...all very convenient. Great place for breakfast across the street. Highly recommend for families and soccer tournament attendees. We stayed in the (2) room suite, 2 queen beds, 1 pull out couch, could easily sleep 6 (we traveled with 4). Would definitely select this hotel again.

There are pros and cons to this older resort at the south end of the boarwalk. We rented a 1 bedroom apartment for 7 nights.
PROS
Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Location was excellent.
Oceanfront view from totally private balcony. Each balcony is divided by cement on both sides.
Clean and nicely updated units. Seems like this unit was recently remodeled.
Small kitchenette with everything you need. if you care to prepare your own meals.
Close to many good restaurants. Bus stop very close to resort entrance.
Nice and clean rooftop pool. The inddor pool was much smaller.
CONS
Unit seemed to be set up backwards. Main entrance was directly into the bedroom which contained 2 double beds. It worked OK for us because it was just myself and my husband.I'm not sure how the 2 bedroom units are set up. It was comfortable for the 2 of us. Maximum occupancy is 6 for this 1 bedroom unit. I can't imagine more than 4 people staying in this unit.
Very small bathroom. Vanity area was larger and seperate from tub/toilet area. The tub and toilet area was extremely cramped.
Terrible mattress. It was like sleeping on a cement slab.
Getting in/out of parking deck was terrible. Thank goodness my husband did the driving.Seemed like there wasn't any more than a few inches on either side of the up or down ramp corners.The only cars that would be comfortable in this deck would be a Smart /car or Mini Cooper. We had a Trailblazer.
I would consider staying here again if the price was right. The helpful and friendly staff made up for some of the other shortcomings.

Just what I expected from positive reviews. excellent front desk.Fixed all 4 of my little gripes within hours. very friendly can do staff. perfect location.Sat on the balcony at Dawn and watched the dolphins and fishing boats and sad early runners! is in need of renovation,towel rail came off in my hand and no I am not Tarzan. indoor pool is small,but you have the Atlantic ocean and 5 miles of beach to play in. not perfect but perfectly adequate.
