This attractive b&b is located in a quiet residential area less than a minute's drive from the centre of Portishead.
We had two rooms for our stay: a twin with en-suite shower and a double with en-suite bath. Both rooms were spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated (the double recently refurbished in pretty shades of blue) and both had television, tea/coffee making facilites. The en-suite facilities came with robes and a nice selection of toiletries (quite unusual for b&bs, in my experience).
There was a good selection for breakfast: cereals, yoghurts (nice quality), toast, juice, stewed fruits and hot breakfast cooked to order. Alot better than many hotels!
And the star of the b&b: Kate! What a delightful, charming and helpful lady! She gave us precise directions to the b&b and places in the vicinity, as the sat nav in the rental car had given up the ghost and we had no roadmap with us. And we had some interesting and enjoyable conversations with her during our stay.
