I stayed here when on business in Newark and unreservedly recommend the hotel to other travelers. It is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and has a character that you don't get in the chain hotels. When we booked, the Grange was the same price as the Newark Premier Inn and I would always rather stay in a hotel like the Grange than a Premier Inn. The food was also excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Grange in October and were rewarded with a comfortable,pleasant experience. The attention to detail is evident from the moment you arrive. Breakfast is good and the opportunity to eat in the in house restaurant - Cutler's - is a bonus.
On site parking and wi-fi are also available.
We will definitely stay again.

We stayed here on Saturday 3rd December in room an executive double room (number 14). The room was spacious, very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean.Check in was quick and efficient and we were shown to our room. We had booked dinner in the restaurant which was OK, not fabulous, but nice enough. I had to send my creme brulee back as it was the consistency of custard with a gooey top - I am surprised at the chef sending it out really but I swapped it for cheese and biscuits. Breakfast on the Sunday was plentiful and nice, with quick service. The bill was incorrect when we came to check out but it was quicly rectified and we were sent off with a thank you and a smile. All in all I would recommed the hotel and would stay there again although I would opt to try a different restaurant in the locality.
