Alarm bells rang when we got out of the car and the now infamous asian gentlemen (see previous reviews) staggered up and asked if we had a spare fag and then asked us if we were "council or paying". Checked in and had to pay up front. The chambermaid had apparently gone home with the key to our room. When we finally got into it, it was obvious that said chambermaid should be sacked on the spot for her cleaning skills.
Pubes in the shower, filthy toilet, toothpaste scum in the glasses. Dust everywhere. We had booked a cot and were duly given a travel cot with NO bedding, hence we had to spend two nights in an already tiny bed with a baby squashed in the middle of us. Rubbish wifi, TV kept freezing and lots of very noisy children upstairs.
Breakfast, well cereal and toast was ok but for gods sake don't ask for the full English unless you enjoy raw eggs and microwaved bacon.
Only plus point for this dump was it has a nice garden which was a very welcome break for our baby instead of being cooped up in the tiny filthy bedroom. BOOK YOURSELF SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Booked in May for a visit for a family wedding and they didn't notice until a week before our September visit that they had double booked us. This left me with less than a week to re book a party of 11 into new accomadation. Useless!!

I live in Horsham and recommended this hotel to my parents who were visiting to attend a family party ( guest overload hence why they stayed in a hotel)

I notice some of you have paid £85.00 per night, I thought they were seriously pushing it when they charged £280.00 for a four night stay.

The hotel was clean and tidy and reception staff pleasant alas what they fail to tell you is that they accommodate the homeless for the local district council who occupy the bar area which is never open..so that pre dinner drink in the garden is out of the question.
Their room was clean although very small and the ensuite nothing more that a cupboard!

I know they found the breakfast chef/waiter very rude and unhelpful not willing to cook bacon to order etc, breakfast was overall very poor.

I am often asked to recommend hotels to clients looking for somewhere to stay I will never recommend this hotel again!

I recently had the misfortune to stay at this establishment. Upon my arrival, the receptionist discovered that the previous occupant had taken the key when they had checked out. Not a good start. After eventually receiving a spare key to the room I soon discovered that the room itself was very small (supposedly a double room, but the same size as an average bedroom in your own home). En-suite was tiny, if using the WC, your legs needed to be jammed under the sink unit. The WC was dirty, cobwebs in nearly every corner and I even had my own spider. The sink had various amounts of toothpaste and hair attached and the glass in the holder had been used and was coated in toothpaste. My favourite was the dead insects inside the roof light fittings.

Upon checking the tea/coffee facilities I discovered that both cups and spoons had been used and not cleaned. Almost every surface above head height was dirty and dusty as was the window and the flat roof space outside. Underneath the bed had been neglected for some time and a dust farm was in the process of forming.

My biggest surprise, during my £75 a night stay, was the discovery that this place doubles as a half-way house for homeless families on the local council waiting list. There were at least 5 families housed there, in some cases 4 to a room. This is obviously not advertised on the hotel web-page.

Overall, an experience I will definitely not be repeating!
