“Poor Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2011

The food was of poor quality the hotel charge fairly high prices for the low standard of meat they serve. The first night I had a sirloin steak which was more like a rump steak and as tough as old boots, my second evening was the cheese/bacon burger and that was ok, my third night was the full rack of ribs and again was tough and not dropping or peeling off the bone, I travel all over the UK and 7 other countries and in my opinion the quality of food is low to poor if there was somewhere else within 10 mins walking distance I would of eaten out, the breakfast was good but the service was poor. On a good note the standard of accommodation was very good and worth its money for its location, and one barman/waiter stood out as very good over the 3 nights I stayed there

Room Tip: Room great, Food & service poor

“top quality low price”

One of the previous reviews mentiond the bad taxi, I used the free phone at the hotel and they didn't have a clue where they were going. In fact they asked me where the place was (I'm from Manchester).
Gripe over and nothing to do with the hotel which was great. A twin room for me and my son, going to Wembley to watch City destroy Trafford Rangers. The room was a good size, spotless and a great bathroom with a powerful shower (always a good sign). The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful and even helped me book the same room at midnight when we returned after the game. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, freshly cooked and unlimited juice and coffee. I noticed on the menu that it is normally £10 so take that off the cost of the room and the hotel is a true bargain.
All in all a pleasant stay and would definitely recomend this hotel

“Nice, comfortable hotel near to the tube for easy access around the city at great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2010

We have stayed here twice over the last couple of years; for a concert at Wembley and also for the New Year celebrations round the London Eye. Yes, it is about 30 mins commute to the centre of London on the tube but the room rates are so reasonable that we do not mind this. An extra bit of time on the tube for about half the price of a city centre hotel is fine by me. Clean and comfortable with helpful staff. Free, safe car parking. Nice atmosphere. Good breakfast included. Effortless check in/check out. Bus to Wembley takes about 20 minutes - the Receptionist gave us info re: bus numbers/routes etc. The Greenford tube station is about an 8/10 min walk, there is a cash point there as well if you need it. Like other reviews have stated, there are no decent restaurants nearby so you do need to get on the Tube to go to the centre. We like touring about anyway so this suited us fine.
Overall, a good, clean, friendly hotel on the outskirts of London at a great price.

“Good value, be prepared to travel to find good food though”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2010

We stay here twice a year on business and for the money, this is a great hotel.
The decor is tasteful, it has a lovely wood-panelled bar and it's within walking distance of a combined tube/mainline rail station.
Greenford is really a commuter town and as such there are limited opportunities to get a decent meal unless you're prepared to travel to central London.
The hotel food is OK, but it is amongst the blandest I've ever tasted, my colleagues reported that the steak pie was the exception to this rule.

“its ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

My Original booking had overbooked and organised a taxi for me to this hotel - it was that or a very long trip home. This is ok, its clean, rooms are large and staff are friendly. However, for this cost you can get a travelodge in the CIty Centre rather than stay over 40 minutes away in Zone 4 with no restaurants nearby so limited to the hotel itself (which on my arrival at 9 said they were very busy so there was food but it would be some time before it would be ready). Don't understand why you would use this location - it is a good 10 minutes plus walk to the tube. It reminded me of a motel rather than a hotel
