The food was of poor quality the hotel charge fairly high prices for the low standard of meat they serve. The first night I had a sirloin steak which was more like a rump steak and as tough as old boots, my second evening was the cheese/bacon burger and that was ok, my third night was the full rack of ribs and again was tough and not dropping or peeling off the bone, I travel all over the UK and 7 other countries and in my opinion the quality of food is low to poor if there was somewhere else within 10 mins walking distance I would of eaten out, the breakfast was good but the service was poor. On a good note the standard of accommodation was very good and worth its money for its location, and one barman/waiter stood out as very good over the 3 nights I stayed there
