My partner and I have stayed here a few times and have just returned from a weekend break for my birthday. Once again, there are no complaints from us :) Every stay has been enjoyable and this one is no exception. Location-wise, the hotel is super easy to find being just off the motorway and there is ample parking. Check in was easy, staff extremely friendly and rooms are of a high standard. We also had a couple of drinks in the hotel bar and found the prices to be reasonable. For those wanting super cheap food and drinks, just take a walk across the Xscape car park to the Lloyds/Wetherspoons pub. Service here is quick, good prices and I've never had a bad meal.
This time we decided to try the £7.99 all-you-can-eat breakfast. It is the first time we've eaten a Premier breakfast after being put off by similar buffet style food in other hotels but the choice of food and drink was excellent, food was hot and everything was topped up regularly. Some may say paying £7.99 for a breakfast is a bit steep but we had a decent sized breakfast with a couple of drinks and were so full we didn't need to eat until the evening. You would probably spend the same amount on a big breakfast and drink or two in any pub or cafe so there were no complaints from us :)
Away from the hotel there is the Xscape snow slope which is also the home to a cinema, bowling alley, amusements and other leisure activities as well as numerous shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. For more shopping, the Junction 32 outlet village is next to Xscape and is worth a trip around. You'll find shops such as Next, M&S, Nike, Reebok, Monsoon, Mango, Game and many more. Go to the Sweet Emporium... EXCELLENT! "Like a kid in a candy shop" is definitely the most appropriate phrase to use when you walk through the doors. Also, there is a train station next to the hotel which takes you into Leeds in less than half an hour and costs £4 return for an adult - another option if you are staying for more than a day and want to shop or have a change of scenery!
All in all, a fantastic hotel for the price we paid. Book in advance and you can usually get a night for around £30 too! Well done Premier Inn :)
