We spent some days in the hotel in November, during a week in which Belgium was on holidays. Though it was the end of the season, the hotel was full most of the time because of these holidays. Food was excellent, and the restaurant service team was very friendly, though meals could take long if you arrived at the wrong time. The hotel has great facilities with a nice pool, two saunas and a steam bath as well as a fitness centre. Unfortunately the facilities were partly not well-kept (only one of the two saunas working, steam bath not working, one shower in the sauna broken, fitness room equipment in poor state) and the service was not realiable (pool opening at 8 a.m. according to the hotel guide, but not open at 8.30 on two out of three mornings, sauna not warm though receoption staff had said it was heated). When I asked where I could rent a bike in the surroundings of the hotel, I received no helpful answer (though this is a normal thing to do in the Netherlands). My worst problem was that I had ordered a taxi to get to the train station on departure day, the reception staff wrote it down, but on departure day the taxi was not there. The rooms are ok, though lights are rather dim both in the rooms and in other parts of the hotel, and the beds are not that good, with matrassews slipping away easily.

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights, even though the hotel was quite full the services were not all available. For example the massage services was not possible since the person was on holiday and nobody is covering for him. Some of the facilities are in a poor shape.
