Hotel Het Jagershuis is well situated with its waterside terrace, a lovely place to breakfast or lunch. (It seems to be a favourite of the business lunch) The evening Menu is in the haute realm and the bill isn’t far behind. The staff was generally friendly, there were a couple of gaps but nothing worth making a deal of. The food and drink side of this establishment deserves top marks. The rooms need some attention though. The beds are comfortable enough but the linen is in urgent need of updating, towels included. The lamps were so cheap that if you sneezed they were liable to topple over and the curtains when fully drawn left pillars of light in. The air-con is on the noisy side. There are some nice old pieces in the rooms and the bathroom has character.
If a little money were spent on the accommodation side of this business Het Jagerhuis would not only be a fine place to dine but could be a special place to stay as well.
Get with it guys, it's the little things, the quality.
I'm giving 4 out of 5, I'm being slightly over generous.
