Stayed here while visiting relatives in the South Holland area. Found the hotel generally very central to South Holland towns and villages. Access was easy to the major freeways to and from the hotel. Breakfast was included in the Monastery Chapel with a very good selection to start your day.
The rooms are very spacious with all the amenities of a good hotel!
Good value for a good European hotel.
Good pub, Cafe Stroop, a 100 meters towards Oudenbosch.

It's not the cheapest hotel but as it's the only one in the area, I suppose it doesn't have to be.

While the main building - containing reception, bar/brasserie, grand dining room and conference rooms - is a magnificent converted monastery, the rooms themselves are located in a separate block, built more recently.

Absolutely nothing special on the walk through the car park up to the chalet style block of rooms, the rooms themselves are wonderfully spacious. There's a queen bed, coffee table with two armchairs, table with two chairs, another small sofa, wardrobe, minibar and demurely decorated bathroom as well as a balcony!

Space is the one thing that is usually lacking from hotel rooms but it's certainly here in its comfortable abundance. Sadly the view from the window seemed to look over a building site but a quick draw of the curtains solved that.
