It is hard not to compare hotels when travelling and after having stayed the night in another four star hotel in Austria this one was a bit of a let down. The rooms seemed small and the room and had no air flow because of the floor heating. Clean room though and it came with a socket for internet, television and bar fridge. We had to open the window during the night because the room would get so hot that we could hardly sleep.
The most dissapointing part of the stay here was the staff. Along side the hotel there is a school for horeca, so therefore most of the staff were young and inexperienced. They do note this on the board by the door of the restaurant that they are in training. They were at time a bit rude and often talked to each other in front of the guests. There was an issue with the meals when it came to diet changes because of their inexperience. This was obvious for when we came to the next hotel there was no problem with meals given by more experienced staff.
It was not all that bad. This is a basic hotel that I would not necessarily give a rating of 4 star, but at 3 star level it would be a pretty good hotel for a short stay.
It was in a good location, very pretty area, a short walk from the town. I recommend to stay if the price is good.
