I spent a weekend in the Casino Hotel on a budget ski trip. This place had excellent service from the hotel Manager "Tony", a great guy with friendly service.

The best part of the hotel was its location a half a block from the "funicular", the train to the Crans Montana ski area. You can be on the slopes from your room in 30 minutes without any driving or parking hassles. With the funicular service running until 11:00pm people are able to enjoy the charm of the ski village up on the mountain for the evening before returning to the hotel.

The hotel was dated, but had comfortable beds and warm showers. If you are looking for a budget ski trip place to stay this is it....Friendly service, great location, and adequate amenities.....Oh yeah FYI, there is not a Casino near by just the name.

This hotel is situated next to a supermarket and is typified by a heavy reek of tobacco and a motley collection of locals slouched over the Ferrari bar. The rooms are spartan to say the least and the entire hotel is a time capsule of the early 1960's. We moved to a far, far better 3* - the Walliserhof in Tasch - for less money and vastly better amenities and service. AVOID THIS HOTEL
