The hotel is a small and quiet hotel in the centre of Laax village.

It is a rustic and charming hotel with some modern touches. The rooms are rather small, but nicely furnished with excellent bathrooms (shower only). Buffet breakfast is included-it is very continental without fruit or hot breakfast options.

The real let down is the service. Staff is friendly, but there is no energy and smiles. Service would ever only do what you ask them to do. We had to search for someone to bring us coffee every morning. When asked, they made us an omelette, but it is not advertised. Overall, the staff needs training and a more professional attitude. For that very reason, I wouldn't book half board. The Posta Veglia is an excellent restaurant with amazing service and food just down the road.

If you are skiing, be aware that yo need to take a shuttle bus to the slopes. The bus only goes every 30min.

We stayed at Bellaval for skiing purposes, the hotel is in between Falera and Laax skiing base station (either take the public bus for free - included in skiticket - or go by car). The hotel itself is small but very cozy (ideally for settle back after an intense skiday). We booked half board and especially the diner was very good, breakfast was reasonable. Our room was OK, certain renovation activities seem to be appropriate soon. The service personnel was very polite and obliging to all wishes, helping and reacting immediately. Prices not low ("welcome to Switzerland"), but overall a really recommandable hotel.

A very familiar atmosphere, a cosy environment due to the groomed interior design and furniture. Many particular and original craft objects are neatily disposed all over the building...your attention is catched up from the...
and the rooms are very comfortable and cosy as well...buffet breakfast is very rich with a large variety of fifferent type of food...
Finally, it is very close to sky slopes.

We've just come back from a lovely short stay at the Hotel Bellaval. The rooms are wooden style, clean and nice. We stayed B&B though half board is available and according to the other guests was a pretty good dinner. Breakfast was continental style with lovely fresh bread and rolls to set you up for the day (plus eggs, meat, cheeses etc). The hotel has a ski room and is a short walk to the bus to the slopes. The hotel has a small sauna which is lovely after a day skiing. The staff are helpful and friendly, swopping easily between German and English for the guests. The only negative I can say is about the location in that there isn't much happening in Laax village after the sun goes down in terms of going for a drink after your day on the slopes.
