The hotel is well located, but I would never return. Staying just one night was a really unpleasant experience.

First of all, they don't have parking space in front of the hotel, so you have to leave the car in the middle of a street (and pray not to be fined) while you take your luggage out, check in and take the luggage to your room.

You are also asked to leave the room before 10:00 AM. In fact, room service was knocking at my door at 09:30 AM.

To cap it all, there are signs in the corridors warning that noises are not allowed after 22:00 to preserve other guests' rest, but the hotel had entertainment at the ground floor that you could perfectly hear from my room: thunderous music, a vociferous entertainer and people shouting till midnight. At 23:00 I phoned the reception desk to ask when the noise was supposed to stop and they could hardly hear me because of the noise. Outrageous.

We were just out of season so everything was rather quite but finding this hotel was a lucky break. From the moment we entered the hotel from the very friendly receptionist, restaurant staff and bar staff we could not have been made more welcome.
We had a sea view room clean tastefully decorated and comfortable. We asked for more pillows and these we received within 15mins.
The restaurant was small but well run and the food was above average, with good choices, the main fish or meats of the day were always freshly cooked whilst you waited. All in all a welcome break.

I was reading some reviews about this hotel and was terrified, I was going to stay there with my 60 year old grandma and didn't really want anything to go wrong.
But to my surprise there wasn’t one bad thing I could say about the hotel, perfect location, nice rooms, food was excellent and plenty to choose from, different meals every day + fresh meat and fish grilled for you if you wanted it.
There is a fab indoor pool and relaxation area and a small fitness room.
Don’t get me wrong it was not a luxury hotel but enough for what we needed.
If you go to Blanes you must visit the Botanical gardens, brilliant.

We lived in Hotel PIMAR from 24 aug till 05 sep 2009. We stayed in many different European hotels but we have never seen the worst service and indifference about us from the staff.

First of all, we have been moved into room with view at the concrete wall. In this room we can’t even dry clothes out!!! When we asked to move us into another room, the administrator at the reception refused to do it, as if she hadn’t neither sea-side nor patio rooms. So we were forced to apply to our tour-operator for help.
After that (not without troubles) we were moved to another room in one week (!!!), but we hadn’t still received sea-side in spite of the fact that we exactly know from other Russian tourists that sea-side rooms aren’t full.
Meanwhile in our new room we can’t relax at all because of permanent nose (from whashing mashine ???) I won’t repeate that bathroom was very small
Therefore we were very unhappy with such treatment and we will never give good recommendations to this hotel.
Only one thing which we were satisfied with is a hotel restaurant. Food is very varios and tasty. Personnel is polite and efficient.
