nice hotel , food was good , nice friendly staff except for one receptionist who was really strict , the only problem was foreign students who were very noisy at night ( coming back from the night clubs ) throwing things ( bottles of water ,food , fag ends of the balconies to the terrace below where people sit , hotel not child friendly no inflatables in the pool , no jumping or diving in the pool

Had an amazing time! The staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. There was only entertainmaent 3 evenings a week but it was really good! My 3 year old son really enjoyed himself and he loved the pool on the roof. For the price we paid we couldn't of asked for me....hotel Catalonia we had a blast and we're defo be back....see you in September!

I stayed at this hotel with my partners family, our 14 month old daughter came with us but it was not baby friendly there was not any changing facilities in the entire hotel, no toys or soft play areas (nothing), I found it very boring but we made our own entertainment, We had money stolen from our room and when we complained we were told by the hotel manager that we were lieing, We were furious, The Gym looked Pitterfull, The food was cold and it always seemed to be the same type of food every day, There was no english entertainment at night it was all spanish, I would recommend staying south of tenerife if you ever go it was lovely down there.

we booked in 2009 with ferris not knowing where we would end up, we where pleasantly surprised when was booked into the catalonia, no there isnt air conditioning so we bought a fan and it was fine, we know the food is basic but it was edible and the dining room was clean, i worked it out and it had cost us £19 per person per night we was there, so breakfast and evening meal where a bonus really. The rooms are small but we only use ours to sleep in so no problem again and we found the staff extremly helpful and friendly, we had no issues with leaving our cases whilst our rooms where been cleaned, we enjoyed it so much we went back in august 2010 and had another enjoyable holiday, my advice is if you want a good value for money holiday in a clean and friendly hotel this is the place (if you need a big pool in the sun then you will be dissapointed, but the pool is nice if you want some shade small but ok) going back this year too, if you want more then pay more thats all i can say .
