we stayed here with 2 teenage girls last week. The whole trip was quite cheap so we did not expect too much. We arrived at 1.30 am and after a smooth and quick check in we were invited to go eat in the restaurant, we declined due to being very tired but it was nice that there was something on offer as the whole resort was by that time completely closed.
The Room: after the rather grand lobby the room was rather disappointing! there was no AC just a fan, there was no balcony just a small window with peeling paintwork. There were 2 small single beds which were very lumpy and just 1 very thin pillow on each bed although the bedding was very clean.
Bathroom: rather gloomy with a shower that was reminincent of one that might be found in a caravan! the type that once the water was running the curtain would stick to you!! Again the bathroom and towels were very clean and changed every day
Food: we were on a half board basis, the breakfast was good with plenty of variety as was the evening meal.
Staff: all staff were very friendly and helpful although no one seemed to speak English and why should they? us brits should make more of an effort when in foreign countries!
Location: The hotel is in the centre of the town surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. we were at the front of the hotel and some nights there was some noise from the street but not so bad as to cause any problems. The hotel is a short walk to the lovely beach and a short walk to the coastline railway station that runs direct to Barcelona and takes about 1 hour.
Summary: We had a lovely holiday and no real problems with the hotel altough i did discover that there were some rooms with AC as well as balconies so it my be worth checking if these are available before booking
