We bought in MonteAnfi 8 years ago and exchanged for Exotic Weeks in Mexico. We exchanged one of our Exotic weeks to stay in Anfi again end Jan 2012. The resort still has the WOW factor. The grounds have matured and the outlooks from the sunny, light balconies are green and soft. There is a safe beach and plenty of sunbeds, although there is a charge for sunbeds and sunshades. There are a number of restaurants, although we were surprised that they were not as busy as our last visit. This was pleasant for us, but the prices are fairly expensive. There is an Indian Restaurant which is one of the best Indian meals I have eaten. The resort is clean and neat. The quality of the fixtures and fittings is good and the whole area is top end timeshare. There is a supermarket on site, which is expensive to the captive audience but well stocked and caters for most nationalities. The resort is a little cut off from outside activities so a car is advised. There is local golf, but the standard of the golf courses is not brilliant and expect to pay E100 each green fee and E30 for a buggy. We played Salobre North and South and Anfi Tauro - the latter being built since our last visit. The courses are carved out of the mountains so tricky, tight and dusty and due to shortage of rainfall the grass is worn and tight. We would not recommend the Anfi Resorts to anyone who has limited walking ability as a lot of steps. Although timeshare sales are still going on, there was far less hassle this visit. It is a fairly expensive resort, but you get what you pay for. Entertainment is limited and finishes fairly early so when we arrived at midnight on a Saturday night, the resort was deserted. Shame we can only exchange to stay in Anfi resorts once every 4 years!
