We stayed here 14th to 21st Jan 2012. Having paid little for the stay we didn't expect much more than basic accommodation - so we were surprised at just how basic this place was. The furniture was jaded - to the point where the mattresses were like sleeping on bare springs, the foam on the sofa offered no support at all, sitting on it was no different to sitting on the bare boards that made up the base. The kitchen was barely equipped. No sharp knife or breadknife, no chopping board, in fact the only utensil was a fish slice!
The toiled smelled of sewage the whole time we were there.
In the entire week we didn't see anyone cleaning the common areas - and they definitely needed it. The room was cleaned twice in the week - once on the Wednesday and then the next day.
Corallejo is quite a nice place but our stay at this appalling apartment complex has put us off visiting again.

I normally am a believer of skimming reveiws as you normally find people complain if they have had a bad experience!! though i am an easy osey person and my stay at this hotel was okay- standard and i wouldnt expect more to be honest paying around £550 for the week. At first i found it nice, livable etc and apart from a bit cold at night being in the winter - it was reasonable. we just took out the extra blankets for our beds. But - and thats a big but.. I have never been to self catering or a hotel which does not clean your apartment or room only 2ce in your stay... who uses the same towels every day after being at the beach etc.... not the most hygenic??? After asking the reception staff -- one very pleasent! (Women with the longer hair) The one with the shorter hair and not the best english thought it would be wise to tell us that this is a problem as your towels are changed twice a week and we would have to wait until then to get new towels.. Was not impressed and eventually got the towels. The other lady was no problem to it whatsoever and could not be any more polite. The other main factor was that the ants in our apartment were rife. but for the short time we were in it i didnt bother complaining incase i got the dragon of a receptionist! but seriously. very unclean for the volume of ants and we had no food in our apartment at all really apart from crisps. Other than that it was a nice place and central enough... (:

I was a little apprehensive before we arrived at the Atlantic Garden Apartments, however I was very impressed when we actually got there. The reception staff booked us in very quickly & we made our way to room 217. The lounge/kitchen area was very spacious as was the balcony. The other nice touch is that they include washing up liquid, scourer & t towel so no need to pack them. The apartment also included a microwave & toaster. The room was cleaned & towels changed every other day. Pool area was clean & tidy & the bar staff friendly..happy hour was 3.30pm to 5.30pm with buy one drink get one free..2 glasses of wine turn out to be 2 Euros, bargain! The location is ok right next door is a big shopping centre with a fab supermarket where you could buy literally everything.The walk to the main street where all the bars & restaurants were took about 15/20 minutes. I did try the internet but it was a very poor signal in the room (even though the reception staff said it would be fine) so I gave up in the end, even around the pool area the signal was not much better. My worse fear was seeing cockroaches in the room but I am happy to say we did not see one. No mossy bites either. The beds are not the comfiest but after a couple of days we got used to them. I would definitely use these apartments again really good value for money.

I stayed here for a week and I had an amazing experience. First time I visited an island in the canaries and I must admit, it exceeded my expectations. The location is great, walking distance to the bus stop, supermarkets and all the tourist attractions are very close.

For a two 1/2 star hotel, the service from the reception staff was excellent, our room was very clean and so was the bathroom, we had no problems what so ever. Overall great stay but only thing to be warned about are the amount of stray cats around the area!

If you don't like cats then maybe you should request a room on the first floor because our room was a basic one on the ground floor and on a couple of occasions, the balcony door managed to open itself (unless it was the cats) and when we got back into the room, we had company from them which we found quite funny but if you're not a fan of cats then at least I warned you before hand ;)
