Very clean spacious rooms, poor TV with just one English news channel, no air conditioning or even heating for those chilly nights. The all inclusive is let down by the repetative food choices in the main restaurant and limited drinks and snack options at the pool bar, I have never stopped in an all inclusive wher you have to pay for coffee, you can get basic coffee yourself from a jug on the bar, but if you want a desent coffee you have to pay for it, also if you want a snack other that a toastie you have to pay for that as well, and forget the afternoon tea and cake, my Daughter went to the pool bar one afternoon at 4pm and asked wher she could get some food from and she was told to go to the bar down the road and buy some, so once lunch has finished you can not get a snack untill dinner at 6pm. But Corralejo Main Street is a short way away with plenty of bars and restaurants, so you can nip out and get a snack. The extremely miserable waiting staff do not help the situation, why do these people get jobs in the service industry if they do not want to deal with people and give at least a basick service, you really do feel as though you are a inconvience the way some of the waiting staff are, they simply just ignore you. I have to say this cannot be said for the reception staff who will do all they can to accomodate your every need.
The shop on site has a good selection of goods and food and is very well priced, and the lady that runs it is very friendley and helpful, however she does not sell newspapers, so a short stroll to the main street will give you a large choice of shops and resturants and is generally on the level so it's accessible for most people. We would definitely not stop in this hotel again untill the staff were trained to be CUSTOMER FRIENDLEY.
This is the first time I have given such a bad review, We have travelled to Spain on many occasions and always loved the Spanish, we have also stopped in many all inclusive hotels around the world, and I have to say I have never experienced having to pay for snaks and coffee in an all inclusive befor, perhaps this is the norm for some places but I have never known it and would not want to experience it again.
