We stopped for a week in the apartments early February when the weather was very cool.

We found the apartments fine with plenty of storage space and a good fridge and freezer. As others have said they are a little dated and basic but for the price we paid we were happy with the apartment.

Plus points for us

Great location - right in the middle of Corralejo, just off the main road and close to beach
Clean - cleaned 5 times a week and we didn't see any bugs
Pleasant reception area - with free wifi
Nice pool area - although it was too cold to sunbathe or go in the pool whilst we were there
Bike hire - from Reception at a reasonable price (I think it was 8 euros a day)
Secure - only entrance was through Reception

Negatives for us

The bed was nice and large but slightly to hard for us
It was cold in the apartment - I appreciate that we experienced unusually cool windy weather but the apartments are not geared up for it being cold. The wind blew through the apartment because the door was ill fitting and as the floors were granite and cold too it was hard to keep warm.

As for Corralejo itself I am sure because of the poor weather we experienced we did not see it at it's best. However I would say it is geared more towards a British tourist so it may not be for you if you are looking for an authentic Spanish resort. However if you like to wander you will find areas with more of a spanish feel.

We booked using lastminute,com secret hotel. It was clearly marked as a 4* Hotel. On arrival it is apparent that this not the case. The staff are very freindly and I cannot fault them but the room is dated and furniture is old. Many tiles are loose and cracked. The so called satalite TV has only Sky news and euro sports but there is about half a dozen german channels. There is plenty of street parking but no car park. The whole place could do with a major overhaul. On the plus side the cleaners are very good coming in almost everyday and leaving the place spotless. Quiet location and heated pool. Bar closes at 6pm but there is numerous bars and resturants a stone throws away.In short this place is OK but please don't claim its 4 * when its only 3*

Fuentepark is clean and comfortable. Staff at reception is very friendly. Apartments are nice, clean and comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped and all the things are nice and new. no microwave though. In the bathroom, there are essentials as shampoo, soap and shower gel, which is good.
Also common areas as reception, pool and gardens are nice and clean.
Location is very good, just minutes walk to beaches, port, main strip and restaurants and bars.
It also feels very safe as they close the main door at 11pm and you need a key to get in.
I had a first floor room and have not seen any insect or bug.
Free wifi at reception.
Swimming pool is very cold.
I recommend this place to people looking for quiet and relaxing holiday. Not to people looking for entertainment within the complex.

really comfortable apartments,kept clean.could do with a makeover,.the kitchen was small but everything was in it except a microwave.really good fridge freezer,as we did all our own cooking it was brilliant for us.would go back again if we got a better deal .very nice pool but a little cold.the beach was close and very nice,a lot of people have reviewed it as being dirty but its not.we had a fantastic holiday in fuertaventura ,and are definately going back .The staff were very helpful and freindly and made everything as good for us as they possibly could .
