Just returned from a 1 week half board allocated on arrival holiday, so I hadn't seen any reviews before I went there. The location is about 20 mins from the town, which is OK if the wind is not blowing. However, you can get a taxi for about 2.5 euros, depending on the time. The pool area is large enough and we had no problems in getting a bed at any time of the day. There is a pool bar, which is sometimes open and sometimes shut and it has a happy hour and reasonable prices. There is also a main bar, which we only went in once on the evening of our arrival. It didn't look appealing. There were a couple of shows on and this bar also had a happy hour. Even though we were on half board, we had an apartment, which was roomy for the 2 of us. The balcony looked over the pool and it was very peaceful. However, the rooms are dated and need some TLC. The towels are still orange but they didn't smell and the shower did alternate between hot and cold. The food is OK but there is little choice so we ate out a couple of nights, however, we went to one of the many Chinese restaurants offering the buffet meal, perhaps not the right choice. There are many restaurants down by the port and we would recommend these. All in all the place is OK and we would return in the future and hope that there had been some upgrading but we would go for self catering
