i stayed her on holiday with 4 adults and one 6 year old and an 1 year old

the villa its self is quite large area good size bed rooms and lots of storage and nice large enough kitchen for a week and clean, the Pool was 1.8 meters deep they was a small baby pool in the resort which was great with the little one not to far to walk from centre its a 5min walk to start of centre and about 15 to 20 min walk from beach

the complex has its own supermarket which was ok for a few items we drove to a supermarket out of the town which was much cheaper than the local ones in resort the sand dunes beach is lovley

it was a flat resort so was easy to get about!

“Lovely hotel, great staff, good food, would definitely return!”

We visited the hotel Oasis Papagayo at the end of Feb/beginning if Jan. We paid about £750 for myself, my wife and our three year old son for an all inclusive week. I think at this price the holiday was a steal!

We went with friends (two adults, two children), and can honestly say that it ticked all the boxes for us!

The apartments were large and spacious, no broken furniture or dirty floors! The kitchen was well equipped (not that we used any of it!). It was cleaned five times in our seven day stay (which is what they told us would happen) with fresh towels every time.

The all-inc food was really good (a surprise for us as we are fussy eaters!), there was something for everyone every night, with a seperate selection for kids and at least one fresh item being cooked in the buffet area. The pool bar also had a good selection during the day if we got peckish and didn't want to go inside!

The hotel is a 15 min walk from the beach and the shops, but this was expected so no nasty shocks. It actually suited us as we like to have a little walk during the day. There is a massive water park right opposite, which was shut whilst we were there, but looks amazing!

The staff were all very friendly and the Maxi Club staff did a good job at keeping every one amused during the day and at night. Evening entertainment was cheesy fun, not to be taken too seriously! (the kids lived it!).

We would definitely return to this hotel (if I could get if for this price again!)

“winter break”

My Husband booked this as a 20th anniversary surprise,,and I was not dissapointed.
This hotel has everything.
I was expecting a 'room',and what we had was EVERYTHING,it was an apartment,a lounge with sofa-bed,arm chair, dining table and chair, tvthen ,thou a door out to the patio where there was another table and chairs, the lounge lead to a kitchen area, where there was a fridge, and hot plates, and enough utensils to make your early morning cuppa or to cook up a snack,or meal,if you were not 'all inclusive'.the bathroom was nice and roomy, well laid out and had hair-dryer.there was a bath and a shower.
The bedroom had twin beds, which were 4 foot beds, placed together,so there was plenty of room to spread out,if you were over heating !!! there was air-con,but we did not need it,in November, but I emagine you would need it in the hotter months.
This was our 1st 'All inclusive',we loved it,the food was fantastic,Breakfast everything you would ever want to eat...Healthy option,or full blown Full English..fanstasic..
there was a fab choice at lunch time in the dininig room, but we never used it,we ate at the pool side bar, which were more snack food.Pizza,Burger's,there was always plenty.
What I did like about the Food in the Dining room, was it was constantly topped up,so no matter what time you arrived,it always looked amazing, the evening meals were so tasty,I tried so many things I had never had before. Every thing was 1st Class.
There are 3 pools, and the grounds and gardens are all kept cleanand tidy.
Our room was cleaned daily, the bedding was changed every other day,and plenty of clean towels.
All the staff were freindly and helpful on all levals, the reception could not do enough for us.
We found the entertainment a bit boring, and lacking atmosphere, but this was mainly due to the fact that there were not many guests (if felt quite out of season)the bar,was run by i person, there was always a small queue, and I cant think how long you would have to wait to be served in the busy season!!!!
The hotel is in a good persition, there are regular busses near bye if you fancy a trip around the island,we walked every day, into town, about a 30 min walk, and we used to get a cab back.
It was a super holiday, and I would love to visit again.

Just returned from a great trip with 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly although the rooms furniture needs an update! As previously said in other reviews food is healthy and fine just don't bother coming if you or your kids are really fussy eaters! Kids mini club is brilliant and is run by 2 French girls with great English and gave a great agenda of things for them to do! Other anamacion staff are also great and try hard to get you involved if you want to be and head of anamacion Malik speaks many languages including great English! The entertainment at night is passable really for the kids and the quizzes are a good laugh! Pools are getting warmer and they are cold at first but the longer you are in it's fine! It is a bit of a walk with small kids into town but taxis are cheap! Recommend a trip to lobos and a trip on the glass bottom boat really fab beach! Great place to go for winter sun and not chokka with brits mostly French and Italian and others on cycling holidays!

“Another great value holiday!”

Stayed at Oasis Papagayo for two weeks all inclusive, 4 -18 January 2012. Was looking for an inexpensive break from the UK cold and found it here!
Good food, great apartment and wonderful weather. What more could you want?
Not being one for on-site evening entertainment, I can't comment on that at this complex - although I would guess that it wasn't inspiring. A good mile walk to the centre of Corralejo.
The friendliness of the staff was outstanding - not a single grouch there! (but the place was half empty and thus the staff were under no pressure). Outstandingly helpful reception staff (two German girls, one Spanish and a young man whose nationality I didn't discover).
To my surprise, the main groups of guests were Italian and French. Never heard one German voice apart from the receptionists. "Animacion" team were French, with little English between them). Have never seen so many Animacion staff at one hotel! No chavs observed.

I have slightly marked them down on sleep quality because there was a dog howling most of the night, every night over the boundary fence. Nothing the hotel could do about it, and I got used to it, but it wouldn't do for most people.

Room Tip: Two storey apartments set in extensive grounds. Upstairs better than downstairs. Unlikely to get a s...
