We have just returned from two weeks in Corralejo and stayed at the Oasis Dunas. Yes the rooms were basic, but they were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The location of this complex ideal as everything was within walking distance. Resort itself was nice, by continuing down to the end of the main 'strip' you can reach the 'old town' where there are a number of great restaurants.

Entertainment in the complex was provided by Jase, Stefan and Clare from Thomas Cook who kept us amused on an evening after returning from 'The Venue' (hello to Sue and Julian) or the 'Corner House' sports bar.

Will be returning here again.

Am not the kind of person who wants to stay on site for a holiday, so baring that in mind, here is my review. Apartments were clean and comfortable. Service was always polite and friendly. Food (for those going half board etc) was pleasant enough and plentiful. Hotel is close to everything. All in all a good choice.

These apartments were good, although slightly spoiled by the package holiday people who arrive on coaches and never seem to leave the apartment complex! There was a big pool though and it's a really short walk to the town or harbour. The town was more touristy than we would have liked but if you explore a bit and escape the English people the island is beautiful, you can windsurf, kitesurf or just laze on sand dunes, or swim against huge waves on the black sand beaches on the west coast. The apartments themselves are spacious and well fitted, just a shame that the bar on the complex played loud English music and served Carling instead of Spanish wine and tapas! Great base but make sure you go out and enjoy the Spanosh culture.

Having stayed at a couple of hotels in Corralejo in recent years, for pound for pound value we can say without fear of contradiction as seasoned travellers in our 60's that our stay at this hotel was not disappointing. Breakfasts were excellent with a very wide choice, dinner was exactly the same. The apartment was more than adequate and very clean with a daily maid service, it is certainly no 5* complex but did not pay 5* money, and anyone who complains is being unreasonable. However this hotel is not ideal for wheelchair users because of steep inclines to and from the apartments. TV rental is too expensive.
