“Great Value for Money Good Location Clean Apartments”

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days all inclusive with a friend for her birthday. We both enjoyed our stay checked in with friendly staff our apartment was very clean on arrival and we had our rooms cleaned beds made every day with clean towels, pool area was clean and plenty of beds although as always people do put towels on the beds, we didn't and still got a bed, Food was okay you can always find something to eat but it is buffet style so it is much the same every day, the pool bar also serves food hotdogs and burgers which are nice but not served during 1-3 pm when the restuarant is open. Drinks were plentiful as we were AI. Coffee machines could be a bit cool but I always take my own coffee and teabags so I can make my own drinks there is a kettle in the apartments so all good. Location is good lots of shops, restuarants and bars there is some evening entertainment at the hotel snake show, parrot show but there is plenty to do around the immediate area if you want a bit more. We had a nice relaxing break at the Brisamar for the money we paid for 3 Star accomodation very good value for our money.

“Good value for money holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

On arrival we were checked in very quickly and with no fuss. Our arrival time was late afternoon and we had time to have dinner before turning in for the night. We stayed for 14 nights and although the food can be repetitive from time to time it was always of good quality. All food was prepared to a high standard. The only criticism of the food was it tended to be lukewarm and not hot enough. The staff were superb. Isa on the pool bar was excellent and very attentive. Fransesco on the entertainment side always tried hard to please the small numbers who went to any yoga classes or the evening karaoke, bingo or quiz nights which we thoroughly enjoyed. If it comes to a vote I would give my vote to Carlos. His Ennglish may not be perfect but had enough of a grasp of the language to have a laugh. His service both at dinner but more so in the theatre bar was out of this world. My glass never emptied and this was also the case of all who were in the bar in the evenings. The rooms were dated but comfortable. The pool area was well presented and the location of the hotel cannot be faulted, only a few yards to the main strip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a value for money holiday. If you want five star sevice for three star prices then I suggest you find another hotel. For us there were no complaints during our stay at the Brisimar.

“good location”

we stayed at these apartments for four weeks came home 4th feb, as i said good location and this is the main reason we chose them, we were very dissapointed with the inconsistency of the food some days lovely but it got worse as our holiday progressed, it depends which apartments you are in ours was very damp in the bedroom the wall terrible and had to ask for a move , they were badly in need of a facelift , we had lots of problems .which did eventually g
et sorted but it got very tedious having to complain and all they seemed to do was makeshift as needed, The pool bar was the best thing about the hotel, proper cups for tea and coffee a bonus, Isabel was wonderful. couldnt do enough for you. As we were long stay we didnt feel we got a good room clean after the first week, Definitely not 3star everything seemed to break down coffee machines never hot enough had to microwave water for tea,not good as i like a cup of tea? we did not go on a cheap holiday as a lot of people had so definitely did not get value for money and i will not be going here again as we were very dissapointed overall,

“lovely hotel and location”

first impression at reception , was friendly and we checked in quickly, we were informed we still had time for dinner if we so wished, we were given hotel info, and a map ,to find our rooms,we quickly found then, and i was quite happy with the condition of the room nicely decorated, split level living area, with a a balcony, we don,t have a problem with steps ,so our room was fine, my friend however does, and she requested a different room ground floor, which was sorted next morning, no problems. the maid service durning our stay was very good, and the girl always had a smile and pleasant. we went all inclusive, and found enough food and choice, for most people, you would not go hungry, lunch time was a bit poor , but also there was not a lot of people eating, so understandable, if trying to keep waste and costing s down. we sampled the hot dogs in the pool bar and they were lovely. the pool bar was very nice, biggest problem that it shut at 6pm, when most people would like a pre evening drink, before , hitting the town or going for dinner, only leaving you the dinning room for drinks, which was only wine or beer or soft drinks. so if they could change anything i would say leave the pool bar open until 9pm., the room where they did the entertainment is dismal though, and I did not bother going in there, after the first night visit, the smell of toilets was to much for me, but some people did not seem to notice, i can,t comment on the acts, as i say the smell to much for me, in there defence though they were having a mayor drain problem during my visit, and they had men working away(not one i envied of,it stunk) but they were sorting it, and this does happen over there. in all i could,nt really complain, about anything here
, suggestions yes, like the opening times of pool bar, but would go back, would go all inculsive again, the hotel tried very hard to make people enjoy it, great location, out the door and everything a few steps away, well done brisamar. keep up the good job, and I look forward to my next visit

“Nice apartments but no atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

Good location, nice apartments, food below average for 3 * all inclusivve mainly due to being cold, staff pleasant, night time bar dreadful no atmosphere and smelt of sulphur 3 nites out of 4 ( restuarant and evening bar are below street level which didnt help) Pool area is lovely but only sun beds no seating (perhaps due to being January) Not impressed with beach very rocky
