I wanted to go somewhere to recharge and have a solid vacation, and I´m so happy I went on a yoga and detox week with Sally and Jo to Villa Azul! I travelled with a friend, but it would also have been a perfect place to go on your own.Felt so well taken care of. The yoga with Sally was great, she is so profersional but also warm and dedicated. she was very good with the different level in the group, made us all feel comfortable. And Jos food was amazing and very inspiring, I have kept up the good food habits back home, and even read about nutrition. The mix yoga and food was intresting, and I really feel good and happy afterwards :) It´s smart to bring some warm clothes in January. Very helpful staff if you have any questions or need help with anything. It´s a quiet place, good for resting, but also possible to go out and do other stuff;to town, hire bikes, surf..

Having just returned from a weeks intensive pilates week in Azul Villa Verde I felt compelled to share my experience. I now feel totally relaxed after fantastic food and great tuition in the sunshine. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It has such a laid back vibe. I stayed in the Sahara tent in the garden , we did have a wee mouse visiting on occasion and we had to get additional blankets (it was Dec) as it was quite cool around 4am ish. I would thoroughly recommend this retreat and look forward to returning. - Thanks Guys x

Was at the Villa location outside Correlejo in Villaverde. Had the Sante Fe Room - clean, airy & comfortable. The yoga and Pilates tuition was excellent. I last did Pilates about 2 years ago and have only started regular yoga this year. Other guests had more experience but we were all happy with the tuition. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Jo's meals were both healthy & delicious. Went to both El Horno & Casa Marcos restaurants, to Casa Marcos twice - so good. Did the surf package through azulfit which was run by Richie from AWOL holidays. So much fun learning to surf with Richie & Gee.
Azulfit do transfers to the beach every other day but the bus to Corralejo runs every hour & is only 15 minutes & around 1 euro.

i bought alot of food for microvave then found it didnt work,two other people that were in other appartments also said theres were not working,i heard a rumour the guy that owns the complex doesnt care if you complain he wont do anything about it.pretty complex and good location for the beach,shopping,bars etc.its cheap enough to buy food out so if i was you just keep basics in the fridge,milk etc.id advise a trip on the back of a harley davidson that was fun but 150 euros for 4 hours but it was good.
