This is my 2nd visit to sa coma (first went in the vista badia summer 2006).

Read lots of reviews before booking and for the £500 each we paid as a couple for 10 nights all inclusive in June I think the hotel was average.

The first problem we had was on arrival been told that we was to be put in another hotel around the corner one night, presumably because they had double booked, this must have been a sister hotel but was no where near as nice and was back from the beach, not as clean and really needed updating. The most frustrating part was not been able to unpack and start the holiday properly as it was only lunch time on the first day and as we was told to check with the playa dorada the next morning to see if a room had become available - This should not of happened seen as we had booked over 6 months previously. The next morning we went back to the playa dorada and a room was then ready, still with no explanation to why. We did then get one of the best rooms, straight out to sea on one of the end rooms with really good views.

Food was a big let down, I have stayed in a few other 3* hotels all inclusive and had a lot more choice and varriation to what was here. It was that bad that most lunch and tea times we ate out in sa coma.

Snacks during the day were gone in secconds with children pilling there plates high with pizza leaving none for other guests.

Its worth going along to cala millor on a evening, lots more going on and more to see and do.

Sa coma beach is really nice, busy on a morning and weekend but afternoons were a lot quieter with less children.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and maids always seen cleaning.

Would deffinately go back to sa coma just not this hotel, it was very german based and it was as if they provided more for the germans - Nothing spoken in english and all german type food.

I have hardly any negative comments to make about this hotel. On arrival, staff behind the desk were extremely helpful, and could speak all languages! Very pleasantly suprised with the rooms. Clean, light and reasonably sized. All rooms have balconies looking onto the pool which was lovely!
I didn't rate breakfast much, as I felt that there was no variety. For the whole week the snack was pizza- didn't bother my group as we all liked it. Dinner was good. Always a salad bar, pasta dish, type of meat and fish, and variety of veg and potatoes.
The pool was FREEZING. We made a habit of swimming in the sea because it was warmer. The pool became shaded at around 2 in the afternoon which was a shame.. especially for sunbathers.. However, the day before we were due home, we were exploring the hotel, and found a sun terrace on the hotel roof!! Devastated! So make sure you get use of that!
The hotel location is IDEAL. Beaches are around the corner with boat trips to keep you occupied. The nightlife is reasonable. The group of us were ages 18-23, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We reccommend- Crazy monkey, Britannia, The dug out and The kings head. Shops are plentyful!, and buses running to locations around!
All staff were so friendly!!

we went for a week in october all we found the staff very good nothing was to much trouble.the room we had was excellent the shower was very good.the food was good with something for most tastes.the entertainment was ok for the end of season.overall a good hotel.

Just arrived back from Playa Dorada Sa Coma today this is only a 3 star but there was only one night we really didnt like the look of dinner .This is only a smallish hotel but provides good rooms ,we had a 1 bedroomed apartment which was well enough room for my husband and my self . The bar staff were fantastic , nothing was too much trouble for them ! drinks are always plenty ranging from champagne to orange juice .It was very quiet and actually closing down for winter tommorow but all was still ok, Had fantastic meal in CARLO'S in Cala Millor recommend this place also do coffee and gorgious cake for 4 euro please go he is staying open through the winter
