stayed here from the 3rd sep 2011 to 17th sep 2011 , basic apartments pool was good size staff was very friendly any probs they sorted straight away,a few ants but we went prapard . i would definatly stay here again , we got what we payed for and if you want 5 star then pay for 5 star.

i had read previous revies before going but chose not to listen to them. i booked and we went! we arrived at 1.30am and there was not a soul in sight. reception (well more of a shed) was open and we were able to go in and stroll around, helping ourselves to the bar if we wanted, keys to all the rooms and safes. we waited an hour and a half before a young lad an d girl appeared. they told me they were closed! after an hour of debating with them, i finally told them they cant be closed as i have paid to stay there. the young, abrupt girl then accused me of using the telephone in reception and asked for money to pay for the calls. very poor english but i managed to understand wha she was saying. was finally shown to our room, no help with bags up the flights of stairs. room was ok, basic and a few ants but ok. pool was awful, i wud not have allowed my child in there of i had one. couple of days into the holiday around 11.30pm, me and my partner were sitting on our balcony which was not far from the reception, shed thing when my partner began coughing and having a mini asthma attack, we then smelt a very strong smell of weed and then seen the young lad that works there hiding the joint behind a plant as a coach load of people pulled up to check in. after they were checked in, he then lit the joint back up and proceeded to smoke, was unaware that we were watching him all the time. unless u spoke spanish or german, u were not even acknowledged. in such a bad hotel, the least they could do is have friendly staff!!! oh and also staff are lazy and bone-idle hence the state of the hotel

They don't have Disney channel. We were sad. They do have BBC 1 and 2 though.
If you are a young woman you will probably get free mojitos.
The man who owns the hotel is very nice but a little bit too laid back.
If you want to go clubbing, do not stay in Sa coma at all. There is 1 bar.
Take ant killer with you, there are lots of ants.
There are very few sunbeds compared to people.
There is a HUGE very cheap supermarket near by.
NO air con in the rooms.
The ground floor aptmnts have little privacy as the double doors go straight out to the pool.
It was very cheap though, so we weren't expecting much better. Was a nice place, just not our cup of tea.

Arrived late on the 5th August, me my husband and daughter, to be told " no room for you , sorry" Luckily, we had my husband's cousin with us, who is from Majorca, because English speaking is very limited. Offered us a hotel in S'iliot, called Playa Blanca, owned by same company (Bei Juan), we stayed there for 5 days, it was horrendous. It was like a 1970's sit-com. Balconies were not fixed, patio doors didn't lock, food was awful. So on the Wednesday, when they said you can go to the Europa, we cheered!! True it needs a bit of TLC, but the staff tried hard to please us, as I guess they knew what we'd been through at the Playa Blanca!! As for ants and dogs barking, we were enjoying ourselves too much to notice. Would definately return, but this time bring a toaster and kettle and refuse to move when they say no room here!!!!!
