We stayed in this Hotel at the end of Octobet for one week, myself, my wife and our four year old daughter.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff tremendous and extremely friendly and the pool area was great.
Can't find any fault really except that the matresses were a bit hard but that's being really finicky.
Food was great with a selection on offfer and never any queues due to the two sitting process and the brilliant staff. The nearby beach is great and Formentor, a short boat trip away is absolutely beautiful.
Will definetely go back and stay there again.

we would recomend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in alcudia, great views from top floor balcony (pool side) rooms were spotless and comfortable, the food was very nice different theme every day, the staff were a credit to the hotel very helpful from day one to the day of departure. as and when i return to alcudia i will be staying at the astoria playa again, thankyou to all the staff for making our holiday special. X.

We stayed at the astoria playa the last week in september. The weather was fantastic. The hotel is in a great location, not too far from the beach. I don't understand the sharing tables policy in the dining room but as we were a family of 4 this did not affect us. The food was good with themed nights and something to please everyone. The hotel offered good evening entertainment, I would recommend the chinese acrobats. Overall we had a great holiday and would go back

Just returned from a 7 night half board stay at the Astoria Playa.
Was fortunate enough to be allocated one of the newly refurbished rooms on the (417) 4th floor.
Was pleasantly surprised it's a fantastic room, bright fresh modern design, tiles have replaced carpet, bathroom is now a wet room.
For a 3 star this hotel is outstanding, all the staff were great genuinely helpful & nice.
Vast variety of good food.
Wasn't much in the sence of entertainment whilst I was there but in all fairness the hotel was closing 3 days after my departure.
Close to beach, shops & bus stop.
