My boyfriend and I stayed at these apartments for 5 days for just a cheap sun holiday in early October. Booked through Sunshine.com (cheapest I could find it!)
90 mins from the airport on coach. You need to check in at Alcudia Garden Hotel reception, very polite they were too, and then you can them use their amenities aswell as Palms for your entire stay. They have a larger pool, more sunbeds, restaurant, gym, etc.
We went self catering. Very clean, which is one thing it HAS to be for me...I was impressed!The apartment had a good sized balcony and the living room was excellent size for a family, even better as only two of us! The kitchen area is small, no oven which we were a little shocked to discover! Good size fridge with tiny ice compartment, a 2-ring hob and a sink, Lots of plates and cutlery, glasses and pans, etc. Needless to say, we ate out and just had simple dinners!
The bathroom was well lit with good ventilation. It has a bath/shower, as someone else has mentioned, water pressure is not on the strong side but it's enough. Plenty of towels and maid service we had every other day.
We had the (very cold!) pool pretty much all to ourselves, plenty of sunbeds/shades and just a few other German couples there also. Lovely sunny weather the entire stay.
Very short walk to the beach where the sand is like velvet and you can walk for miles. But you do have to pay 4.50 euro each for a sunbed per day.
Plenty of shops just a small step from the apartments, which all seem to be mini supermarkets/souvenir shops! Plenty of restaurants to choose from (Dakota, USA-themed, well recommended!) and a lovely harbour at the end, to spend many a starry-lit night stroll!
All in all, a perfect little getaway and so cheap. It had everything we needed. We expected cheap as thats really what is was, yet on arrival we were very impressed!

we had such a lovely stay, the apparment was basic, but cudnt fault it at all. very clean,staff were very friendly location was excellent!!! 5 mins walk to the beach.

i would say this is more of a family holiday.
we went self-catering so ate out every day, we went to loads of different resturants but must say we went for breakfast at a place called sandras british bar and it was the nicest full english iv ever had.we went there every morning.

a few negatives one should be aware of--self catering no kettle microwave or toaster--on arrival no reception a gardener pointed us in the right direction alcudia gardens reception---two adults two children one cot required 28 euros why ?????. good points --excellent location--sheets& towels changed 5 days out of 7--nice pool & free ice cream for the kids.

The hotel had a good location, it was few meters from a fantstic beach. The beach is very good for kids and is really big. The Alcudia port is about 10 mins walk.
The hotel is simple but clean, we were satisfied also with pools, there are some in Palm Garden and some in Alcudia Garden hotel.
Just behind the hotel is Eroski supermarket, where you can find everything for reasonable prices.
