Just returned back from our holiday at Alcudia Gardens, The rooms were very basic and needs updating, the bathroom tiles were very black in places.

There is no way you can get any seating around the pool, Germans get up very early and put towels on the beds, so if you want to use the pool and watch your children to play is impossible the only time would be after 6.00pm.

Food was basic and repeated its self during our week stay, but there is plenty of fruit.

Very hard to find any information in English, nobody to talk about kids clubs where they are etc, we went out in the day as they were no room to relax in day and again in evening.

This was not acceptable as we had paid for an all inclusive holiday which was not cheap, and had to pay extras outside the hotel.

We saved hard for this holiday to take our four children and have come away very annoyed that it did not live up to our expectations, we would not return back to this hotel,

A very nice resort, mostly all included, food/accomodations were simple, a good variety at the buffet. Rooms had a small kitchen. Very children friendly with a lot of activities for all ages. Across the street from the beach, a beautiful area for shopping or to just take a stroll.

I stayed in room 3103 (block 3) from April 24th to May 1st. The room was facing the reception's rear entrance, where there are some video games outside. One of them made a terrible noise all day long (from 0800-2200 hours). After a couple of attempts, I convinced the staff to turn it off. Make sure you don't fall into this noise trap.

The room was ok, but there was only a small mini bar (fridge). I would perhaps expect a "real size" fridge (big enough for a 5L water bottle). Nice staff. Ok breakfast (€53 for 7 days).

My friends stayed in 2102 (block 2). This room was ok, but as it was facing the main street, there was some noise. They also saw some ants inside (only on the floor I think).

I checked my e-mail on daily basis, and had to cope with the slooowest internet connection ever.

I've stayed at Alcudia Garden's neighbour, Viva Tropic, three times before. Viva tropic ain't much more expensive, but a better hotel all over, compared to Alcudia garden.

Expect from the ridiculous "video game noise" incident, there wasn't much wrong with Alcudia Garden. But I think you can get more value for your money than this - for example Viva Tropic.
